Winchester Red Posted 9 February, 2012 Posted 9 February, 2012 As it says on the can. Never gonna happen but kinda nice that there is dome acknowledgement of doing s good job here
SNSUN Posted 9 February, 2012 Posted 9 February, 2012 Carry on as he's doing and one day in the future I wouldn't be surprised. Not yet though!
sussexsaint Posted 9 February, 2012 Posted 9 February, 2012 He is fantastic with the type of players we have, I wonder if that will translate into dealing with stroppy millionare prima donnas who have no motivation to play
S-Clarke Posted 9 February, 2012 Posted 9 February, 2012 Some of our fans need to realise what a great job he's doing too.
Stepgar Posted 9 February, 2012 Posted 9 February, 2012 66-1??? Might awsell as offered 20000-1 coz he aint gonna get it lol
Give it to Ron Posted 9 February, 2012 Posted 9 February, 2012 Ladbrokes have confirmed they received a bet of £189k on Harry Redknapp to be next England manager from a dog called Rosie.

buctootim Posted 9 February, 2012 Posted 9 February, 2012 Ladbrokes have confirmed they received a bet of £189k on Harry Redknapp to be next England manager from a dog called Rosie. Did they pay the tax up front?
david in sweden Posted 9 February, 2012 Posted 9 February, 2012 Ladbrokes have confirmed they received a bet of £189k on Harry Redknapp to be next England manager from a dog called Rosie. woof ! woof !
david in sweden Posted 9 February, 2012 Posted 9 February, 2012 As it says on the can. Never gonna happen but kinda nice that there is dome acknowledgement of doing s good job here 66-1 ... surely that means there's 65 better choices before him ..but you know what bookies are like ..they know some people will bet on anything. what are the odds on David Cameron?
stthrobber Posted 9 February, 2012 Posted 9 February, 2012 I wonder what the odds would be for Adkins to be next Spurs mananger though? That is more of a likelihood than England, assuming Redknapp fools the FA into thinking "he's the one"
Lord Duckhunter Posted 9 February, 2012 Posted 9 February, 2012 Betting on the "next Manager" market is the biggest rip off sports betting. If I and one or two others put a big bet on Adkins, his odds would come down. This would then be all over Sky sports news, meaning more mugs will place money on him, bringing the odds down, meaning ect ect ect. Sky seem to want to fuel the fire on this sort of market and how many times are bets closed on particular candidates before somebody else gets the job? How can you bet on something that is not chance. It is a procees that involves too many people to risk your money on. For all we know the FA could have a candidate lined up already, just waiting to cross the i's and dot the t's, yet people are still betting on it. It's like having a bet on a football match that was played last week, but you dont know the result, but plenty do.
SaintNik Posted 9 February, 2012 Posted 9 February, 2012 Great manager never going to happen. What are the odds on Mike Bassett?
