Lukas Jutkiewicz!

I'd have taken Juktiewitz over Tandanari - no question. What we lack most is a 6ft 2 centre forward to lead the line. Imagine Lambert playing as the second striker behind Juktiewitz - exploiting the space created by someone pressing the oppositions centrebacks - and having someone else that is good in the air.

I've not seen Sharp play but I hope he's as good as some people say.

Agreed there, Lee doesn't really look up to it from the bits I've seen. Poor first touch and get's shoved off the ball easily. Hopefully he's just finding his way and will come good soon.

Think Lucas is better than both Barnard & Guly tbh.

Back to the topic...thought Juke was poor last night, gave the ball away a lot and looked incredibly slow, also seemed a few seconds behind the play, I'm not unhappy we didn't sign him. Was a good finish though to be fair to him.

You know when you're in a tight 0-0 away at Birmingham 1 good finish is worth the other 92 minutes of crapness.

Welcome Lee, two appearances in a new country and you're rubbish! Jesus. Isn't the fact he cost 2m less than LJ relevant? So is it not a case of Sharp and Lee, or LJ? In which case I'd definitely choose Sharp and Lee.

Or is this a situation where we say 'should have signed him' about every player that scores a goal until the end of the season? We've done that before.

Where have I said he's rubbish? His touch has looked poor. Nearly every time the ball was played up to him (Millwall home and away), it bounced a few feet off him and we lost the ball. No one can deny that, if you do, you cant have been at the games he's played in.

He also missed an absolute sitter in the 2nd half but I'll let him off that, after all, he needs more time to adapt...

As for the £2m less comment, yes, it's totally irrelevant. Regardless of what you cost, you need to be good enough.

And in only his 6th game too. Over the season that would be nearly 8 goals whereas the totally inadequate Guly has only mustered 10 in half a season. oh...............
