Loan Window

I think the loan window opens today.

Be interesting to see if we do dip into it anytime soon, if Jos is close to a return then maybe the shout for a centre back will die down.

Who thinks we should dip into it and what positions do we need, especially those out there who think our squad isn't up to it to get us promotion who can we get in on loan that can help us out?

The rumour was that Collins would be coming in when the window opened, not sure if there are any other rumours doing the rounds.

CB. Not convinced Collins is the right man, but in NA we trust if it is him. Think we are a CB short though at the moment, despite Jaidi/Seaborne coming back.

Jos & Fonte - both coming back from injury but first choice.

Martin - Done alright since he's come in but we haven't been getting results + been conceding a lot.

Jaidi - Wouldn't want to rely on him, think he'd get roasted in this division.

Seaborne - Can't really put a timescale on his injury.

Lol Is he that bad?

We'll never find out probably,we don't have the type of match needed to give him any playing time and we have far too many of our own players to fill the bench.Pity really but our system won't suit him anyway.Probably needs a 4-3-3 same as Tottenham.

Don't know why we don't use it really, we have all the elements needed.

We don't use it because Rickie isn't someone to lead the line, he likes to drift wide and drop deeper.

Im pretty sure we wouldnt have bothered with him had Puncheon been welcomed back with open arms a week earlier, like you say where and when is he going to play ?

............but may take a match or two before they get back to that great Autumn form they had

Martin - Done alright since he's come in but we haven't been getting results + been conceding a lot.

.............Don't think we can put the blame just on him : he's been MOM a couple of times since coming in.

Jaidi - Wouldn't want to rely on him, think he'd get roasted in this division.

.............Good that he's fit, but is hardly likely to see him with a regular spot again.. and he's due to " retire " in the summer.

Seaborne - Can't really put a timescale on his injury.

.............I seriously doubt if we will (ever) see him in a Saints shirt again, though hopefully he can make a comeback..

However, would feel safer with a loan of an experienced CB to cover all eventualities.

Hope we see Seaborne again - he was immense at the start of the season.
