As a kid I walked under it when it was being built. Had a look round the yard before leaving school because I was thinking of going into naval architecture.

 

But I didn't work it on so who cares.

I worked on it a bit when it was in the skate dockyard for repairs during the Falklands campaign

Even tried to get one of the name plaques off but couldn't get the c*nts off

I bet that hurt a few feelings in ...P'mouth, having a ship berthed there with our name on it .

What I'm after is members of the hms Soton football team .

 

 

Saints used to donate there old kits to the ships team. I know in the eighties they used saints 1979 strip As an old hms player sold me the number 3

 

Si there must be lots of old players who kept there kit

Try friends reunited navy . I used to know someone on board we should to play hockey in the same team down in Plymouth but that was years ago if not try mod site navy that should help
