********, 10 man west ham are better than us :/ poor result and I don't care what others say. That was a winnable game and we had the chance to reach the quarters in the FA Cup. We are going to tumble into play-offs for sure at this rate.

Not sure why you're saying that, considering without his saves we would have lost about 6-2.

Is this to say he made exceptional goalkeeping efforts or is it to say that without a goalkeeper we would have lost 6-2 as these statements often boil down to?

19th in the form league. Five games without a win. Grasping at straws doesn't change the facts. Chaplow is not a saviour; Lee is not a magic addition. A team one place off relegation to L1 can beat us at home. COYS, don't you want to play in the Prem?

We'll see saturday. If we win, then playing a weakened side was a good idea tonight. If we don't, then clearly we should have gone all out to rediscover some form tonight.

I think we're slowly getting form back personally. Just not as quickly as anyone would like.

I don't think it was really a weak side though. The only changes I can see for Saturday is harding, Bart, Chappers and Lee out. And those 4 players are still more than good enough.

Just hope that doesn't effect the team spirit and morale within the club (losing mentalit). We ALL really need to get back to winning in the league now. come on Saints you have not become a bad side overnight but you do seem to have become easy to play against.

Adkins reached his pinnacle at the end of november,he is now struggling as I suspected he would.

Now that's typically over the top. Not sure why you want to be proven right so much, given that you being proven right would equal us performing so bad. Come on - just accept that he's a terrific manager and has done miracles with us.

This is his first tricky situation.

Bad for moral but i really didnt want to go through. NA really needs to ask himself a few things before saturday what the hell has gone wrong since November...we had a good defence, was scoring goals, playing nice football and was in a really good position for promotion now it's all a mess, can't even beat a crap Millwall side. We need to go back to basics or we're in deep trouble if this carries on.

I'm inclined to agree with you. Adkins team selections, substitutions define belief of late. Seems to have lost his magic wand. We're close to making one almightly slide down the League just like S****horpe did. We are reliant on Pardew's signings and players here before he arrived. Adkins signings just aren't pulling their weight or showing any decency.

Surprised how little i cared. Shame lots of our squad players couldn't raise their game or put the effort in. Still, Lallana sounded excellent and we started to create more. Just wish Millwall had bothered against West Ham.

Maybe Nigel should have played the full first team, hard to say really. But the important thing is Saturday and we need some help from the fans. A good attendance and not getting on their back with every misplaced pass or going a goal down etc. Otherwise we could turn the poor home spell into a serious problem. Maybe they need to slip down the league so expectations become a bit more realistic though. Personally I'd take 3 points from the next 2 games, any more would be fantastic.

Looking forward to Sharp playing saturday, hope he's not on the bench. If Adkins reverts to starting Connolly on Saturday I'll lose my first bit of faith in him.

WHo says they didnt bother - perhaps they weren't good enough but more than able to match us, even with a second string side.

It's not about the cup versus league.

It's about CONFIDENCE.

We are not winning football games.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed that?

Confidence is key - We know that from our early season form!

We need to buy a win somehow and use that as our springboard and right now its just not happening.

I am not too despondent as I always felt we would slide down the league after a surprisingly good start and I am genuine and have always been in my prediction of 17th.

Having said that, I am as puzzled as others as to why such a good team on paper is struggling.

Is NA out of his depth ?

I'm confused as to what people mean by this. What slide did S****horpe have down the league? Weren't they always battling relegation and surviving against the odds?

They've only totally dropped out of the equation since Adkins left.

All out in force now i see....

Seasons is over..we are ****...adkins has lost it...relegation...blah blah

Don't think anybody is saying that. But just for good measure - check our our recent form. What you'll find, is that is is worrying, is giving cause for concern, is not very good, is making us drop away from the promotion places, is not indicative of instilling confidence in the players.

There is a problem - if you fail to see it - tough.

'Catastrophic' is a mental term to use, we have everything to play for. It's just becoming very concerning that we are just not capable of winning games at the mo. Saturday and Tuesday are absolutely MASSIVE. 6 points would be huge.

I don't know where we moan now though. We spent the money, have a large squad, plenty of options, plenty who've proven ability. So do we criticise the managers, the board, the fans? I honestly don't know. Frustrating as it is, to me it just seems like we have to be patient and get behind them.

I think we have to be patient. I always felt this season would be about consolidation and that next season will be the one when we push for promotion.
