Dog Posted 7 February, 2012 Posted 7 February, 2012 Can we have one of these for all us thickos that can't cook.
Mattio Posted 7 February, 2012 Posted 7 February, 2012 food and drink would be good to add to something maybe?
saintscottofthenortham Posted 7 February, 2012 Posted 7 February, 2012 I suggested this before, to no avail.
Pugwash Posted 8 February, 2012 Posted 8 February, 2012 Why not? Food and Drink has got to be as interesting as Motoring.
jawillwill Posted 8 February, 2012 Posted 8 February, 2012 Why not? Food and Drink has got to be as interesting as Motoring. Everybody....EVERYBODY...eats and drinks. Not everyone drives cars or plays computer games. Just saying.
latter day saint Posted 8 February, 2012 Posted 8 February, 2012 Why not? Food and Drink has got to be as interesting as Motoring. does help if Admin or Mods are interested in the subject
Jonnyboy Posted 8 February, 2012 Posted 8 February, 2012 Everybody....EVERYBODY...eats and drinks. Not everyone drives cars or plays computer games. Just saying. But not EVERYBODY cooks!
mattyjh Posted 10 February, 2012 Posted 10 February, 2012 Being a chef myself i think its a good idea
pap Posted 11 February, 2012 Posted 11 February, 2012 I second this motion. There's a genuine interest in the subject across the genders and it'd be a nice positive part of the board that has the possibility to benefit all. My missus does some awesome stuff, which I'd be happy to transcribe.
LGTL Posted 11 February, 2012 Posted 11 February, 2012 Would this be in the new 'girls only' section of the forum?
ecuk268 Posted 12 February, 2012 Posted 12 February, 2012 Cooking is a valuable skill, not least because you learn that you don't need to spend a fortune to eat well.
Pugwash Posted 12 February, 2012 Posted 12 February, 2012 FOOD AND DRINK, guys and gals. Food? You don't have to cook - can have threads about restaurants, fast food, sandwiches or chocolate bars if you want to. Drink? C'mon - I'm sure EVERYONE on here could post a few ideas on that one
pap Posted 12 February, 2012 Posted 12 February, 2012 Would this be in the new 'girls only' section of the forum? I'm sure knuckle-draggers would benefit too.
Mattio Posted 12 February, 2012 Posted 12 February, 2012 Does this mean this is going to happen or what?
Bearsy Posted 13 February, 2012 Posted 13 February, 2012 I feel bad for all the people dying to start cooking threads but at the moment they can't because their isn't an appropriate sub-forum. Obviously I suppose they could put it in the lounge but then they wouldn't get responses from people who are only interested in cooking as they wouldn't ever go in the lounge and as things stand there is no clearly marked place to go to find threads by people with a common love of cooking. I am definitely in favour of this all though I am not muich interested in cooking per se the constant cooking threads being started in the motoring sub-forum and other places they shouldn't be are extremely annoying!

pap Posted 13 February, 2012 Posted 13 February, 2012 That sentence alone has swung it for me. Er, don't decide on my account. Actually asked the missus about this, and her response was akin to a startled hissing cat. Precious about her recipes, apparently.
Mattio Posted 13 February, 2012 Posted 13 February, 2012 I make a salty treat that I'd be happy to share the recipe of...
Bearsy Posted 16 February, 2012 Posted 16 February, 2012 least an hour dog. you dont want to get salmonella.
Dog Posted 16 February, 2012 Author Posted 16 February, 2012 Thank you for your help. What about the soldiers?
