Saints sure know how to make a winger in recent years...

Gareth Bale

Theo Walcott

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Nathan Dyer

Southampton left back Luke Shaw was also in the England squad with Chambers, but got injured in the first training session and returned to England.

I've said before, but all I've seen of him is in the academy match vs Man Utd in the game that had the free stream a little while back.

Really stood out. Fantastic touch and footwork.

Sadly we haven't held onto any of them. Unkie back in the days when we held onto Terry Paine and John Syndenham and had some of the top goal scorers in the likes of Derek Reeves, George Kirby and Ron Davies who received incredible service from the two of them.

He always seems to me as the one with most potential, even with JWP, Sinclair, Shaw and Reed.

Tricky winger with pace, quite tall as well. And scored a cracker v Thurrock last year.

Anyone know much about Omar Rowe - although used sparingly it seems he is often involved in the good highlights of youth games. Seems a good prospect but only from internet snippits - any opinions from anyone who knows more?

He has the right attributes to go far. Very quick, agile, direct winger with a nice left foot. I think he had a bit of off-field issues which is why he hasn't played as much
