If true, Bottles and coin throwing - out of order - only complete dicks do this whoever it is

Twitter warriors - kids being pathetic to - abuse is easy to give out from behind a keyboard as he says

Henderson article in general - total ****e - desperate to try and demonstarte loyalty after being allegedly exposed as not going to teh tractor biys because wage demands too high .... also not sure this tie needs players cranking up the hype - irresponible and selfish of him to be honest.

What an awful article. Even if what he says is true - and we can't rule that out, we have plenty of idiots in our supporter base - that article is terrible, badly written and doesn't seem to know what point it is making.

What a bizarre article from The Snooze, especially after the abuse our players got at Nottarf !!:

Filled me with pride, reading that article.

He tries to play it down but even the fact he gave that interview would suggest it shook him up a bit. Let's hope he loses the plot at SMS.

Two comments:

1) that article is appaling. It is sub-GCSE.

2) he did have stuff thrown at him.

He also says he saw our fans throw stuff at Bristol City players during that game.

1) I was there and nothing was thrown that I saw

2) there has been no publicity about anything being thrown at that game ..no complaints from Bristol for example

3) how did he 'see' this?

So frankly, anything he says has no credibility.

Chucking stuff is pretty pathetic. But so is that article. The quotes themselves are fine, and I've got nothing against the player to be honest but it's just poorly put together.

Danny Fox had stuff thrown at him, you didn't hear him complaining like a little *****. He should just realise there are morons who follow football, every club has them, and the best thing to do is rise above it, not go crying to the local press.

Chances are however that he didn't go crying to the press at all... they probably asked him about it. That's what usually happens, the press are looking for stories and angles and this was where they ended up. If someone asked Fox about stuff being chucked at him then he'd probably say similar, but to a Portsmouth News work experience boy, it was like a world exclusive or something...

A plastic drinks bottle was thrown at Bristol City players from the Itchen when they scored. I saw it clearly.

I was right behind the goal- no way was a whisky bottle thrown at him! A bottle lid landed about 2 foot from him- what a bandit!
sorry but I saw at least 2 minature spirit bottles thrown on pitch in his vague direction. Both landed a good few feet away though

I was there and defiantly saw things thrown but they were nowhere near him. As for the atmosphere thing that is pretty funny considering how quiet it was especially when we were winning. To say you couldn't hear each other is just laughable.

What a douche.

At a time when Patrice Evra has been abused by a fellow pro over the colour of his skin, Henderson thinks it wise to cry to the local press about once in a career having something thrown at him from 15 odd yards in a local derby grudge match? No other industry will compensate you as heavily as football does for this so some advice:

1) Put up with it without crying or f**k off out of football and get another job

2) If you're in the public eye and you don't like the attention don't use twitter

3) If you're going to complain about such abuse do it after the SMS game where you're now in line for so much more abuse than you would have got..

Oh and by the way every clubs fans will seem cocky compared to pmuff, you know why? Because they aren't even a viable business, let alone football club with a bitter and twisted fan base just waiting to see their club drop like a stone down the divisions or cease to exist at all.

He bites a lot on Twitter which is the exact reason he gets abuse.

I saw a minature Jack Daniels bottle land about 10 yards from him. Yet I had coins thrown near me all game, especially after the final whistle. And I got cut by one in 2004 when we played there. Why does he think it's only Saints fans who have some morons. Man up you tart!

I actually found the whole article quite funny. Not that I condone throwing things at players - but really - that article was printed in a so called professional news publication...!!!

His girlfriend was shellshocked - really - how did that not make Sky news. He's getting grief on Twitter - really. I've said it before - don't like what your getting out of SM sites - don't ****in' do them. Really is that simple.

Mind you, shame on you, all you Saints supporters giving him stick on Twitter - you wouldn't find any PFC supporters doing that to our players.....

I usually let spelling mistakes go, but that is the best spelling of definitely I have ever seen!

(Unless you were defiantly seeing things - I'm not sure how that would work though)

Unfortunately I saw this land on the pitch at the bristol game- came from along near the dugouts when they scored- and what I am ashamed of most is that those around the **** that threw it did not point him/her out to the steawrds/police.

No credibility? If we can't marshal out a few idiots throwing things then that label sticks more with us...IMO of course

Lying Skate Bastard, I was stood behind the goal about six rows back and there were a couple of things thrown and landed no where near him(which is out of order) but not the amount he reckons.

I must have been right by you, and like you say, why a load of tosh. There was a couple of bits of paper (betting tabs) and a couple of coins that were thrown onto the pitch for the effect, not at him. He gave a bit back at the first bit of stuck he got on that day, which as anyone with a brain cell would know, is the worst thing you can do.

Bloody good luck to him on the return fixture. Had to laugh at his dig with regards to the atmosphere being better at Fratton. For a south coast derby the atmosphere that day was nowhere near what I have experienced at SMS. He's in for a rude awakening, and I cannot bloody wait!

COYS!
