Channon's Sideburns Posted 1 February, 2012 Share Posted 1 February, 2012 Hi guys, If possible, I'd like the Mods to make this thread a sticky please - Steve Moran is setting off on a fantastic challenge towards the end of this season - riding 1400 miles in 21 days - covering all Premiership plus all of the grounds of the clubs that he played for. Connor is Steve's partner's son - here is a link to background on the challenge - http://www.premiershippedalathon.co.uk/faq.html Please visit the website and donate what you can - it really is a fantastic effort and cause to support. http://www.premiershippedalathon.co.uk/index.html You can also follow Steve on Twitter - http://www.twitter.com/SteveMoran_pp And also on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/groups/309828225729324/ Support Steve in his challenge...who can forget moments like this? sussexsaint Posted 2 February, 2012 Share Posted 2 February, 2012 I was always Steve Moran in the playground. SFC legend for me. Ha! Me too , although I look more like David Armstrong now. An outstanding player in an outstanding team and from all I heard from my Aunt who worked at the General at the time a really decent bloke as well. My brother won a trophy in the Tyro and had it presented to him by Steve .... I was completely gutted

SaintBobby Posted 5 February, 2012 Share Posted 5 February, 2012 Agree, can we make this a sticky please? Steve Moran was my childhood hero - and that winner versus the skates is worth every Saints fan bunging in a few quid, surely?

Legod Third Coming Posted 3 April, 2012 Share Posted 3 April, 2012 I was always Steve Moran in the playground. SFC legend for me. Snap - sent him and Micky Channon a video of one of our great 80's goals on Twitter. When they both responded I ran upstairs like a 10 year old to tell the missus I'd been in dialogue with my TWO heroes! Good luck to Stevie - without his bad back we might have won the bloody league!
