Dog Posted 1 February, 2012 Posted 1 February, 2012 (edited) Why are there so many dead badgers by the side of the roads? Is it they are knocked down but always by the kerb, knocked down and they drag themselves to the side of the road and die, or do people (farmers) kill them elsewhere and dump them on the side of the road to look like a car accident? I would definatly go for the farmer method, as I know a few carrot crunchers who gas or shoot badgers, and always fear getting caught. I know badgers are a pain in the arse if you are a landowner, but this has to stop!! The main road I use to get to work has been renamed Badger Bypass. Has anyone else ever eaten the black & white pig monkey? I would like to add that if it was genuine car accidents that kill badgers, why are there never any car parts, on the roads near the dead badgers. I mean if you actually ever hit a badger with your car, it would be a right bloody mess. Edited 1 February, 2012 by Dog
Dog Posted 1 February, 2012 Author Posted 1 February, 2012 It just about sums it all up to be honest!! 1.5 hours this thread has been up and not one reply, it just goes to show that no-one actually gives a flying fook about badgers.. Poor bastards, I love them..

RonManager Posted 1 February, 2012 Posted 1 February, 2012 You are dead right about the farmer connection. I live on Exmoor and it's common practice - foxes too.
aqbadger Posted 1 February, 2012 Posted 1 February, 2012 I love Badgers. In fact, I actually wish I was a Badger.

Sheaf Saint Posted 1 February, 2012 Posted 1 February, 2012 Not sure of the validity of this, but it made me laugh anyway...
