Wildgoose Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Never mind W Ham I want us to start winning again! This is becoming a bad habit we're developing........
corky morris Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Certainly dont think we have been getting the rub recently with refs.....................still, we have to overcome it!!!!
ericofarabia Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 2 mins injury time ..... lala shoots wide. Yay tractor boys 3-1
trousers Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 GOAL: Ipswich 3-1 West Ham : Martin (45+3 pen)
Saint_Jonny Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Come on Saints we need to take advantage of West Hams **** up!
Cascadia Saint Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Come on Saints, this sounds a bit better. Give us some end to end action at least...
Jonnyboy Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Get Forte on! We need two goals from a super sub!
Webby Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 No much help the hammers losing if we do too! Critical we win this game, I feel.
St Chalet Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 This is an all to familiar feeling. 3 months ago I would have had no doubt that we would win 2 or 3-1. We just sound flat.
Micky Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 dare i say worst than leicester performance. teams have worked us out. Hope not - because the Leicester performance was bad - are you there?
Window Cleaner Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 This is an all to familiar feeling. 3 months ago I would have had no doubt that we would win 2 or 3-1. We just sound flat. nothing up front again,or so it sounds.
IronCitySaint Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Listening on Radio Wales and have only heard them mention two Saints players all first half (Richardson & Lambert). Are we playing in this game? Strange how we have gone from invincible at home to completely useless in such a short time. How can confidence go so quickly?
latter day saint Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 58% possession to Cardiff says it all .
adrian lord Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 come on Saints - at this rate Dalek will be proven correct with 17th...
trousers Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 That means jack the way Ipswich can fold ;-)
Micky Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Never mind W Ham I want us to start winning again! This is becoming a bad habit we're developing........ Indeed it is - we are throwing lots and lots of opportunities away.
BotleySaint Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 We aren't good enough to last the pace. Too defensively fragile and we change the midfield almost every game.
Cascadia Saint Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Think we should bring on Lee for Connolly.
James Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 What is going on with us at the moment? Ridiculous
DG Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Bored this this ****e since the end of November, sort it out Saints!
Smirking_Saint Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 I really dont understand why the contribution of Hammond is continually underestimated Yes because you clearly have seen how each consistantly play this season................ Sigh
BigShadow Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Hammond and Lee for Morgan and DC please. Hope so.
Window Cleaner Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 need to start keeping clean sheets. we'll need a better keeper for that.
Saint_Jonny Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Where the **** is Bashley anyway, I DON'T ****ING CARE!!!!
captainchris Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Hammond and Lee for Morgan and DC please. The best call of the night - Connolly is an auto choice though it would appear....
saint peter Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Time to sort it and fast ... simply NO EXCUSE !!!
Smirking_Saint Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Connolly has been invisible TBF Connolly seems to flatter to decieve, one V good performance seems to go hand in hand with 3 or so mediocre ones, the boy is probably on his last legs, luckily we have Sharp and Lee for the future.
alpine_saint Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Hope this highlights that signings aren't the answer to everything. Get fed up of that nonsense every time we drop points or someone has a bad game. How did you work that out ? None of our signings are playing...
maxi_sopez Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Get DC off for Lee... and i agree who gives a flying funk about bashley!
buctootim Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 How can Falque and Lee DEFINITELY be better options? twonk. They might be, who knows? no-one has seen them.
Saints Mad Si Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 At the moment it really doesn't matter what WHU do, we are losing to our second closest rivals, this is more worrying as the time goes on without a win it gets harder to change the habit!
Smirking_Saint Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Hope this highlights that signings aren't the answer to everything. Get fed up of that nonsense every time we drop points or someone has a bad game. We've written off most players at some point it seems. But anyone with half a brain whose seen a football match before can see we've got a big squad full of talent. Now it's just about somehow finding confidence as it seems to be rock botto . Up to Nigel to find that. All we can do is support, because in poor form like this I can't see any change in formation/team selection etc changing much. Only belief and out best players starting to create again will change it. Might take time but look at this league, even with an awful run we'll still be up there fighting. Hell of a long way to go and I guarantee we'll finish strong. TBF the rut has run alongside many of our major players being absent, Lallana, Lambert, Fonte, Chaplow etc have all been absent for some stretch, even Davis. This has chipped away at the run we were on and also with our confidence, Promotion is still a real reality, if we can hit a rut so can anyone, at any time, we only have to hit form again. Keep the faith, I would have snapped your hand off had you said top at christmas.
Lazlo78 Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Right. Let's hope Adkins has seen enough to shuffle things around. Solent talking about a 4-3-1-2 with Lallana in the hole - is that right? Is it the source of our troubles today or an attempt to fix them? I really, really need a strong half from the team. Just give us a glimpse of something!
buctootim Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 (edited) At the moment it really doesn't matter what WHU do, we are losing to our second closest rivals, this is more worrying as the time goes on without a win it gets harder to change the habit! Thought for a while Cardiff will be our main rivals at the top, not WHU. Edited 31 January, 2012 by buctootim
Smirking_Saint Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 How can Falque and Lee DEFINITELY be better options? twonk. They might be, who knows? no-one has seen them. Even if they are plunging them straight into the fold demoralises the players we have there already TBF
Dr Who? Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 i also do not give a flying one about Skate players!!
Dr Who? Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Collapse seems that way!! dam i was enjoying being a Saints fan!!
opthomps Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Key turning point if we can turn this around. Needs a good team talk, a bit of organisation and bravery instilled at the break. Even if we can get a draw out of this now i think it would be a good springboard. If we sink without a showing I will be rather concerned.
trousers Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 James Pearce @Pearcesport A "fan" has handcuffed himself to a goalpost at Goodison Park. Match temporarily stopped
Window Cleaner Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Trouble seems to be the inability to score and then we get ground down until we concede.
