dubai_phil Posted 31 January, 2012 Share Posted 31 January, 2012 OK so which would you go see in concert peeps? Both down here soon, may have to get EoA's dancing Zimmerframe out We have DG on 2nd March then CH on 7th, can shuffle schedules & blag a freebie from a mate to manage one of them. note the purpose of this question is whether DG would be worth missing Snow Patrol for? which in reality is a no brainer BUT thought I'd check
Mattio Posted 31 January, 2012 Share Posted 31 January, 2012 I saw Calvin Harris a couple of years ago at a festival I was working at and he was sh*te I was pretty sober and everyone else there was drunk/high/weird so if you're any of the above I'm sure you'll love him, can't comment on Guetta but I wouldn't miss Snow Patrol to see a DJ. Block 5 Posted 6 February, 2012 Share Posted 6 February, 2012 Don't bother with either Phil. They are both purveyors of lowest common denominator bubblegum dance music for people who dont know better. Instead, spend your money on a CD of Larry Levan live at the Paradise Garage and own a piece of dance music history. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Live-Paradise-Garage-Larry-Levan/dp/B00004W5BE/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1328559012&sr=8-
