Big, big signing.

Provided Lambert doesnt disappear somewhere tomorrow, I'm delighted.

24 hrs to do something about the defence still.

Just hope NA can get these players all integrated and the team running like a well-oiled machine.

According to the club photographer (apparently) another signing is on the way.

NA Also mentioned ''watch this space'' and ''1 or 2'' in his interview today. Well that's one down...

Any clues as to timeframe? Tonight? Tomorrow a.m. ? Cheers :-)

Based on what I can remember of him I'm not too sure he's really all that 'quick' a striker to be honest, but I'm looking forward to finding out for sure. A goal every other game leaves little room for doubt about his finishing ability however.

Admirable show of ambition from the club I must say - the Don truly is as good as his word. My customary note of caution is that I only hope we can afford this expensive squad we assembling in the long term if we don't get promoted ......

bbc sport just done an update for the match tomorrow ..

Southampton defender Jos Hooiveld misses out with a hamstring strain but Jose Fonte and Richard Chaplow are fit.

Iago Falque is available again after being cup-tied while Adam Lallana will be given a check on a groin injury.

today's just getting better and better!!
