LostBoys Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 No worries, I heard that the "train picture" is also a condition of the transfer, going the other way.. where is the train picture now - I though Rupes had it under his arm when he left the building (never to return)
derry Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Sky have just said that personal terms were already agreed.
Gingeletiss Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Yeah the Saunders interview does give cause for optimism. Haven't heard anything from my friend since half 2 so things may well have progressed by then. Will be very pleased with the window if we get him! You really have turned into a name dropping bore, nearly 14,000 post of sheer crap. Shotgun approach in most things, with a 'look at me' bent on all your posts.
buctootim Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Ah, well in all honesty this is a shared account with my brother so there may well be some contradictions in opinion. I hardly ever post so have never got round to setting up my own account. Just for the record i certainly don't know Hypochondriac (thank ****). But yeah, the club seem to be very confident this time round. I don't think the roll of Gary Hooper should be underestimated in this transfer, if it comes off. Although not for me, it seems as if Sharp was 2nd choice behind Hooper in this window and we have gone back for Billy after Celtic told us to do one. Just hope people don't get too excited till it's been completed. We've been here before plenty of players fall down on personal terms. This one is looking good though. Apparently there could be one or two more in tomorrow. Thanks for that. Glad you posted. Its a real pity when genuine posters get flak, but understandable when so many BS merchants are around.

Glasgow_Saint Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Lambert to Everton odds now 4/1!!! If you dont understand betting that basically means if you bet £10 you will get nothing back!!
Asaint4ever Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Lambert to Everton odds now 4/1!!! If you dont understand betting that basically means if you bet £10 you will get nothing back!! Stop it your making my day go very bad from very good!
beatlesaint Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Lambert to Everton odds now 4/1!!! If you dont understand betting that basically means if you bet £10 you will get nothing back!! No, it means you win £40 :-)
Delboy Dave Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Lambert to Everton odds now 4/1!!! If you dont understand betting that basically means if you bet £10 you will get nothing back!! Errrr.. Not quite right unless youre being sarcastic??
thorpie the sinner Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Lambert to Everton odds now 4/1!!! If you dont understand betting that basically means if you bet £10 you will get nothing back!! Always loved this gag, and you can use it with almost any player lol!!!
Appy Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Errrr.. Not quite right unless youre being sarcastic?? He hasn't done a single serious post in about 3 years.
S-Clarke Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Whilst we're spending millions on a proven goal scorer, Portsmouth have failed to pay their monthly wages. Spare a thought, actually, no - don't.
Asaint4ever Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Whilst we're spending millions on a proven goal scorer, Portsmouth have failed to pay their monthly wages. Spare a thought, actually, no - don't. Haaaaaaaaaaa **** my self
S-Clarke Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Not going to happen. If you're on about Sharp, then yes, it is. Medical passed, fee agreed, just has to sign on the dotted line. Doncaster are already looking to spend the fee.
Delboy Dave Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 He hasn't done a single serious post in about 3 years. Ok! Cheers Appy - New on here as you can tell by my number of posts Just looked on SkyBet and Micheal Owen is 20/1 to sign for Southampton...
ericofarabia Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Surely if he becomes a Saint - his goal at Donny should now be credited to us so we in fact won 1-0 and are now back at the top of the league where we belong - happy days. Just an Old speckled hen inspired thought!!
Appy Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 If you're on about Sharp, then yes, it is. Medical passed, fee agreed, just has to sign on the dotted line. Doncaster are already looking to spend the fee. I think he meant Lambert to Everton
DT Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 All these people saying Lambert definitely not off with absolutely no evidence to back that up. Obviously agree with the sentiment, but won't sleep easy until it is evidently not the case.
ericofarabia Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Ok! Cheers Appy - New on here as you can tell by my number of posts Just looked on SkyBet and Micheal Owen is 20/1 to sign for Southampton... I didn't see him at Manchester Airport on Friday night, but there again I was in the international terminal so it is still possible that he could have been boarding a flight to Southampton. Well worth a punt i reckon. LOL
Appy Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 All these people saying Lambert definitely not off with absolutely no evidence to back that up. Obviously agree with the sentiment, but won't sleep easy until it is evidently not the case. Where is your evidence that he is off?
View From The Top Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Lol funny that but i heard that it maybe the blues (everton) that are sniffing around!! They looked last year and decided he wasn't good enough and that is direct from to Everton board members.
Avenue Saint Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Where is your evidence that he is off? DT seems like 'that' sort of poster. Anyways took the words right out of my mouth.
Norm Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Deal was clinched when Cortese said Billy could go round IKEA' date=' choose what furniture he'd like for his new pad and he'd pick up the tab. True. [b']LordswoodSaints son served him[/b] when he was there. Bloody heck! Young Billy working in Ikea? I've heard of starting them young but..................................................

Obviously agree with the sentiment, but won't sleep easy until it is evidently not the case. Lambert's going nowhere and certainly not to Everton - they haven't the money to pay what we would want.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Will celebrate when it's signed and on the OS, until then I remain nervous and (Very slightly) skeptical.
Window Cleaner Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Lambert's going nowhere and certainly not to Everton - they haven't the money to pay what we would want. Aren't they trying to buy Jelavic anyway??
Avenue Saint Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 You have to feel for the blue few that post on here under WUM pretences. What with us going the way we are going and them falling, the way they are falling, I try to imagine what kind of things would they feel compelled to post on here at current times....? Would they try and create a false sense of insecurity regarding the potential loss of our star players? Would they try and legitimise their divisive posts saying that authority is from a club source? Pretty funny thinking about it nonetheless!
ART Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Yeah the Saunders interview does give cause for optimism. Haven't heard anything from my friend since half 2 so things may well have progressed by then. Will be very pleased with the window if we get him! Is that the friend that you claimed knows me that time you contacted me fishing for me to reveal personal information? I'm IKEA and have so many friends too. Isn't that right Norm?
ART Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 This is true Norm, Lordswood himself posted the information on here yesterday. So he is really IKEA and the first to reveal that Sharp was in town.
Gambol2K9 Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Lambert isnt going to Everton, they're skint, unless they've found 4 mil down the back of the sofa....
Golden Balls Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 All these people saying Lambert definitely not off with absolutely no evidence to back that up. Obviously agree with the sentiment, but won't sleep easy until it is evidently not the case. Do you have any evidence to say Lambert definitely is off? Do you have any evidence to say Lallana definitely is not off? Do you have any evidence to say Adkins definitely isn't off? Do you have any evidence to suggest Le Tissier is not coming back? Do you see where I'm going with this? Plus Everton are skint and Nicola wouldn't accept anything less than £8m I would expect.
Window Cleaner Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Lambert isnt going to Everton, they're skint, unless they've found 4 mil down the back of the sofa.... keep up, they've sold Bilatydinov to CSKA Moscow for 5 million £.So they're trying to get Jelavic from Rangers for 8 million. If that fails they might try a cut price 3 million £ bid for Lambert.Don't forget they sold Arteta and Beckford last window.
Matthew Le God Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Everton, they're skint, unless they've found 4 mil down the back of the sofa. http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/2012/01/29/bily-completes-spartak-move Irrelevant anyway, Lambert won't be going to Everton this month.
Saint Billy Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Doesn't anyone have any news on good authority!
trousers Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Doesn't anyone have any news on good authority! No (fact)
Ivan Katalinic's 'tache Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 FootyAgentNew just tweeted QPR interested in last minute deal for Lambert. The need to buy Lambo is obviously catching.
jawillwill Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Doesn't anyone have any news on good authority! University applications are down 9% according to the BBC: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-16787948

Without being 'ITK' you can just picture how cortese would respond to anyone even hinting at putting a bid in for our star striker with one day to go in the window!
derry Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Think about it, Cortese is burning the candle at both ends to bring in players, he is hardly going to waste his time negotiating a fee for Lambert. If Everton in the Premier want Lambert the haggling might well start at £10m, there isn't enough time to even think about it and a loan isn't a runner.

Saint Charlie Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 @bigadamsportWhat an afternoon it's turning into - Tubbs signs for #afcb, #pompey can't pay wages, and now I'm heading to #saintsfc - I wonder why...... Must be imminent...

Anyone trying to get personal information from Art, has more chance of getting £900,000 in shares from RBS as a bonus!
