They have to attract the attention of all those home-workers pretending to work.

That would include me, but I'm not even pretending to work tbh. Wrecked my foot on saturday so cant drive. Just hopping from kettle to fridge and back. Thats not so bad in itself, but cant see myself making the walk from east street to SMS tonight either, so brother in law now has my ticket.

sky reporting vaz te AND maynard both heading to west ham!

what a joke...

How many strikers do they have now? There's no need for that many. Maynard, Vaz Te, Morrison, Cole, Piquionne, Carew, Baldock, and probably more. Can't feasibly keep them all happy? Dressing room unrest I reckon.

Stoke journos now reporting that Collins has turned us down again.

Move on...! That'll be us now - maybe a CB on a short-term loan in a few weeks. But a very satisfying window to say the least!

He wasn't this hard to sign for my Burton team on FM.

Loan window will be quite handy, once the dust settles after tonight, teams will have a better clue who they can afford to loan out.

Would take Maynard. Imagine having Maynard, Sharp, Lambert and Lee to choose from. Would be unbelieveable.

See, the biggest headache as a supporter for me currently is GULY!

The guy has a touch of class about him, and when he gets it right, he looks smooth, slick and a catalyst for the team.

Problem I personally have is that some times he looks that sluggish and off form that it makes you want to pull your hair out.

Consistency is his weakness.

Would I have Maynard in place of him, yes I probably would but I think I would then miss Guly's link up play.

Other than this final striker spot, I would get a right back in to compete with Fraser. Clyne would've been ideal. Although Butterfield still has a wicked cross on him, reckon hes getting on like connolly.

Finally, at centre back, think we will get a loan in for cover and in summer re-assess.

All in and told, we have hands down the best squad in the league now!

UP THE SAINTS!!!!

I'm not comparing him to Le Tiss but you could apply those same words to Le Tiss too. Matty wasn't great every game.

My friend, Matthew Le Tissier was one of the most talented football players of his generation.

There will never be another like him in my time.

Unfortunately, Guly and Le Tissier can never be mentioned in the same sentence.

Mr Jon Motson was just on the bbc feed bigging us up....

"I think the fact that southampton have found the money to pair up Lambert and Sharp is a real statement of intent and I could really see them push on and win the championship and establish themselves as a premier league side"

He also hinted at another transfer at southampton today, but I won't what he said for those of you who aren't following it :p

There is no buy back clause in the contract and he is going for 300k, so man utd don't rate him, and I think they would know best.

Also Motson just said that Billy Sharp was the most significant transfer outside the permier league!!! COYR

Whats that coming over the hill... is it tadanari? It's Tadanari!!!!!

Yes I do. Guly culturally is a different type of player but the issue is does he have the calibre of other similar typle of Brazilians or Le Tissier to compensate for his limitations? No he doesnt.

Yet he scores the goals...

Headache!

Used to like him years ago but what a waste of space he is. Couldn't read his tweets, he's just a Man Utd fan. Makes out he's part of it, but he's nothing, just a waster collecting wages rather than playing. Said he'd rather train with better players, which means fck all when you're never going to play! Could have spent the last 3 years playing regularly somewhere, could have still played for England, but just doesn't have the passion. Shame people like that make so much money.

Agreed. Compare him to Alan Smith (not as good I admit), at least he is so desperate to play football he is willing to go down to L1 to get a game.

Alan Smith is costing MK Dons £2,500pw for his loan. What an incredible deal for them.
