I'm off all day so it would be an option, problem is if you wanted to impress a player at this short notice then a short trip to SMS would be better. I don't fancy a car park bill for £50 if I kept watch there.

Whoever it is I hope it can give us all and the players a lift. First off though I hope a nice easy loan of a centre back (Collins) comes to fruition today ready to be thrown straight in tomorrow.

Can't help but think Saints have done all they can on this one, and are hoping Hooper might - in the wake of failing to get his new contract sorted - hand in a transfer request. Unfortunately Hooper and his agent have not read the script.

With Lambert, Lee, DC, Guly and Barnard all on the books and apparently now fit, I think a SIXTH striker would be an extravagance. I'd be happy enough with short term loan for a centre half until Jos and Fonte are fit.
