Maybe a sticky to stop a few threads building up.

Leicester agree 1m fee with Forest for Morgan.

West Ham to announce signing of Ze Eduardo from Genoa, this could leave Carlton Cole going out somewhere. (we was linked last week)

Pompey buy a tin of sardines for the office cat.

But had to travel miles to find a business that would give them credit as they have stitched up all shops nearby

They thought they were getting a striker from Portugal

Will you be camping out at Staplewood to provide updates on the new boys as they arrive?

With a massive game against Cardiff tomorrow do you think we are more likely to get any transfers completed today it wouldn't be easy doing negotiations, medicals, paperwork etc while the first team are preparing and playing.
know youre trying to reduce your waiting time but I don't think you'll find that the first team players and staff are involved in transfer negotiations.

I'm off all day so it would be an option, problem is if you wanted to impress a player at this short notice then a short trip to SMS would be better.

I don't fancy a car park bill for £50 if I kept watch there.

Pompey should have gone for the cheaper option - pilchards.

Seen him on TV a couple of times (Well highlights) for Santos when he was linked with a big move - this is where one of the Milan clubs were speculated about. He's technically outstanding.

Not much use if the ball is continually hoofed over his head ! ;)

Adam Blackmore, Solent:

Off to #saintsfc training ground at midday to preview Cardiff game, and hopefully pick up a few transfer window titbits !

As Adam Blackmore tries to eek some snippets out of NA in every post match interview and ends up with NA giving him the same well rehearsed stock 'non-answers' in swerving the question, I would not be too optimistic at gleaning too much .

Usual Twitter sources claiming Collins deal 'done' and that Sharp has held talks with Reading & Southampton.

Seems to be some claims that Saints did go back in for Hooper with a "mega" offer but that this was again refused.

If we can attempt to deduce anything it might be that Sharp and Collins are what we're most hopeful of right now.

If it is - what a bloody window.

Lee, Puncheon (in a way), Falque, Hoovield, Sharp, Collins....seriously, that's reinforcement for you. Let's hope the last 2 come to fruition.

I've still got a feeling we'll bring someone in from leftfield, someone we haven't thought of. Whoever it is I hope it can give us all and the players a lift.

First off though I hope a nice easy loan of a centre back (Collins) comes to fruition today ready to be thrown straight in tomorrow.

Can't help but think Saints have done all they can on this one, and are hoping Hooper might - in the wake of failing to get his new contract sorted - hand in a transfer request. Unfortunately Hooper and his agent have not read the script.

Celtic have failed with a bid for Dundee United forward Johnny Russell, Sky Sports can confirm.

they're after another forward....?

Whats the betting they find one , just after Sharp has put pen to paper ?

just hope it does not end with Hooper to West Ham, he is from Essex after all.

They were reported on Sky that they were after Janko too, but looks like Porto have offered more...

They seem to be after more strikers than Arthur Scargill !!!

Good stuff. Does that mean he was shopping in IKEA after all? Be interesting to find out whether he bought a trophy cabinet to put this promotion medal in... :)

Perhaps this means he will shock us all and play in a flat-pack four.

Sorry.

I'm not entirely sure we need a new striker. With Lambert, Lee, DC, Guly and Barnard all on the books and apparently now fit, I think a SIXTH striker would be an extravagance.

I'd be happy enough with short term loan for a centre half until Jos and Fonte are fit.

Adam from solent doesnt reckon collins deal will go through, very quiet he says!

How does he justify that? Just because he hasn't seen him there???

I'd take more credence in Nixon and the other twitter journalists who all seem to think its happening.
