Wiggles31 Posted 29 January, 2012 Posted 29 January, 2012 Do they ever rearrange league games for cup replays? Pretty sure they don't but I wouldn't lose sleep if West Hoof was rearranged as that is a mid week game coming up. Also what time is the cup draw?
stevegrant Posted 29 January, 2012 Posted 29 January, 2012 It'll be either Tuesday 7th or 8th, depending on whether it's chosen for TV. Two of the replays will be televised, with three games (currently) having gone to replays: Saints v Millwall Sheffield Wednesday v Blackpool Middlesbrough v Sunderland I'd guess the other two are more attractive games for ITV and ESPN, to be honest.
modern matron Posted 29 January, 2012 Author Posted 29 January, 2012 I think we could have done without this replay, plus if we get through Derby at home is off, meaning 4 out of 5 away after Cardiff .......
bender Posted 29 January, 2012 Posted 29 January, 2012 I think we could have done without this replay, plus if we get through Derby at home is off, meaning 4 out of 5 away after Cardiff ....... meaning we'll have a tidy line up of home games towards the end of the season.

rshephard3 Posted 29 January, 2012 Posted 29 January, 2012 Its going to fill in our tuesday off between Cardiff and West Ham isn't it? I would say, therefore, that we will be playing VERY FEW first teamers. Potentially this might mean dumping out in this replay meaning Derby doesn't need rearranging on 18th.. I think I've got all my dates right, correct me if not!
Lallana's Left Peg Posted 29 January, 2012 Posted 29 January, 2012 BBC seem to think it is a Tuesday: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/fa_cup/fixtures/default.stm A Tuesday would be best for us as well as it gives us longer to prepare for the league game the following weekend.

LostBoys Posted 29 January, 2012 Posted 29 January, 2012 Please don't put us on TV we play like a bunch of donkeys
alehouseboys Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 It'll be either Tuesday 7th or 8th, depending on whether it's chosen for TV. Last round I think there were replays shown on ESPN, ITV1 and ITV4 so all 3 could be televised. The club need to get together with Millwall and price this game very attractively (particularly if it is on TV) otherwise I can see another low midweek attendance.
