ericb Posted 29 January, 2012 Posted 29 January, 2012 Barry Horne wonder strike against Bolton what a night One of my favourite memories of the Dell that, especially since plenty had already started to leave the Milton thinking it wasn't going to happen.
sandwichsaint Posted 29 January, 2012 Posted 29 January, 2012 IF we beat Millwall this is massively winnable. That's not logical!
eelpie Posted 29 January, 2012 Posted 29 January, 2012 Meh, Bolton always beat us 1-0...[/quote lol We'll win ok so long as we don't sing 'you only came for the weather'

Given league positions we are an equal to Bolton" Umm, equal? In that you're in the league below us? "teams like Bolton will be those we'll be expecting to beat if we do go up" What, well-established teams with several international player? Nothing like putting the cart before the horse lads. I was there last year when our reserves beat them in the league cup so bring it on. Still prefer a Millwall trip though.
Dr Who? Posted 29 January, 2012 Posted 29 January, 2012 One of my favourite memories of the Dell that, especially since plenty had already started to leave the Milton thinking it wasn't going to happen. I did not get in for this game but got in for the last 10 when they opened the gates. All the Bolton fans celebrating a win, and up popped Horne with a screamer to take it into extra time! What a night!
Dr Who? Posted 29 January, 2012 Posted 29 January, 2012 This is perfect game to test ourselves and really go for it, if we be Millwall. First strong team out for this one!
warsash saint Posted 29 January, 2012 Posted 29 January, 2012 Barry Horne wonder strike against Bolton what a night Yeah what a night that was Was trying to describe to my 9 year old what a goal it was a little earlier

Have they not realised they will be in the championship next season in any case... hopefully we can wave to them as they drop ..
Under Weststand Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 If we beat Millwall then Bolton will be a really good test of where we are at the moment. Providing we've got our form & confidence back by then.

Agree that we have a good chance in this one if we can hit some form and have a full strength squad to choose from. No point criticising their comments though - if the situation was the other way round then we would probably be saying exactly the same thing.
jamesb Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 I think we can do Bolton for sure. My Mrs is from Bolton, its still grates me that I saw us go out on pens in the Carling cup at the Reebok a few years ago.
dubai_phil Posted 30 January, 2012 Posted 30 January, 2012 Now a bit worried to say the least. I booked to land on Saturday morning 18th to go to the Derby game... Now there is a chance of a home Cup Game against a PL team... Christ I hope some muppet doesn't choose to change it to Friday night for TV IF we beat Millwall
