dvaughanwilliams Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Big, big night for JP Hope he gets decent treatment from the crowd tonight after he criticised the chairman and I seem to remember him moaning about the fans too.
Avenue Saint Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Hope he gets decent treatment from the crowd tonight after he criticised the chairman and I seem to remember him moaning about the fans too. Behave! Asking fans to boo your own player. Tut tut tut!
dvaughanwilliams Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Of course the most pressing point about tonight is whether I am going to maintain my 100% short sleeve record. It's a bit nippy.
dvaughanwilliams Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Behave! Asking fans to boo your own player. Tut tut tut! I meant the exact opposite. Sorry, poor writing on my part.
Window Cleaner Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Gutted Guly is out. Always amazed people don't appreciate him more. Loads of goals and assists and involved in just about every good move this season. Connolly needs to perform, he was simply appalling against Leicester. Rather have gambled on Lee myself, or Barnard for that matter. For me Connolly has very little part left to play for us. So hopefully a farewell goal from him tonight! Good midfield if all up for it, but let's not do what we always do and forget the opposition. They're a very good team, it's not solely about how we perform. Connolly will get 45 minutes and if he doesn't get a double hat-trick in that time I guess the red and white archer will get his home debut.
Lazlo78 Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Big, big night for JP Big, big night for the whole team - I haven't been this nervous since the visit to Fratton Park :-/
Saintjersey Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 I am feeling very confident now after seeing this team.
Window Cleaner Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 I am feeling very confident now after seeing this team. Good team, hopefully the Millwall version of Martin will turn up and not the Leicester look alike
Gingeletiss Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Tough job ahead for Adkins keeping the whole squad happy when all fit I blame you lot for that, demanding all these signings......
captainchris Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 I am feeling very confident now after seeing this team. Please not Connolly - well over the hill...........oh well lets hope the the rest can pull it off.. so to speak :-)
DG Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Good team and some wild cards on the bench, COYS time to take back control of this league.
Window Cleaner Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 I think I shall go for an early weather forecast. Fecking freezing and a foot of snow round this way.
Mr Saints Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Could be the last time we see Connolly I feel.
alpine_saint Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 jordansibley Jordan Sibley Saints Vs Cardiff. Davis. Richardson, Fonte©, Martin, Fox. Puncheon, Cork, Schneiderlin, Lallana. Connolly, Lambert #saintsfc Happy with all the injured returning. Not happy with Guly not playing.
alpine_saint Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 @jordansibley: On the bench for Saints tonight are: Bialkowski, Harding, Hammond, Lee and Falque #saintsfc Nice to see some big, hairy balls on the bench for once.

Gully has been terrible for us for about 10 games in a row, it's winter it's cold he does not perform, he's a warm weather player! I am amazed that DC is even starting for me he can play well one game then have 3 off games, if he doesn't do it tonight i think he wont get into this team again with Sharpe and Lee here now.
Viking Warrior Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Connolly is a a brillian experienced player. Scores some important and fantastic goals but his strength is finding the space in the box. He runs defenders ragged
Viking Saint Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 I blame you lot for that, demanding all these signings...... lol....amusingly harsh but fair!! COYR!!!
norwaysaint Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 I used to coach one of the Cardiff CBs, Ben Turner, when I was his teacher, he's a great lad and has apparently has been excellent for them, as he was for Coventry, very intelligent too and I'd love him to play for saints. I hope he has a **** game today, naturally.
Jonnyboy Posted 31 January, 2012 Posted 31 January, 2012 Don't understimate Cardiff people. Arent they one of our various bogey teams?
