Annoying to have let it slip with so little time remaining but not a bad result all things considered. Keeps everyone nice and fresh for a crucial one on Tuesday and glad to see Lambo back amongst the goals.

Let's hope so!

No surprise in that result given the 2nd half, it was coming. Did well to hang on as long as we did with that makeshift outfit.

Should win this one at home though.

Not unhappy with that. Lots of players getting much needed first team experience and/or returning to the fray after injury/suspensions, and another crack of the whip in 10 days.

All good.

Meh, not a bad result considering we are still playing a patched-up team. For such a weakened defence to only concede one considering the pressure they were under is pretty good all in all.

Could have done without it going to a replay in all honesty.

Sounded like a decent match, lots of possitives. Barnard got some decent match time, Lambert back and scoring, defence not as bad as we feared, Lee's debut, Puncheon sounded pretty decent, Martin having a great game apparently as did Bill Kowsky.

Negatives I suppose would be losing our 'winning when leading at HT' record. 37 odd games I think it was.

You could almost hear the groans from Hampshire Police as that equaliser went in! We were lucky to get anything at all by all accounts so I'm not annoyed at a draw, think we'll get the win at SMS.

Purely from Solent commentary:

- Sounded like Martin had a good game, Fox did ok considering he's not a CB, and they were put under a lot of direct pressure.

- Full 90 minutes for Reeves.

- A good showing from Puncheon, put in a good shift and well received by the Saints fans.

- Tadanari Lee seemed to have good movement and awareness which is difficult to teach... promising debut if not much end product but a tough game to come into.

- Debut for Luke Shaw too.

A shame to lose the lead but if it gives fringe players another game and helps develop the squad, then I think it's a good thing.

Lots of records lost in the last month.

Great year for us though.

not a bad result considering but lets be honest millwall were the better team even solent had to admit they were very lucky to be one nil up at half time

. still an improvement over the complete mauling at leicester

Can't complain, makeshift team gets a draw. I'm sure a strong team will beat them, but not convinced we'll be playing the first team. Still plenty of options and good experience in the replay for Falque, Lee, Barnard, Shaw etc.

Overall just nice to still be in the draw.

1-1 massacre.

actually had us down as a draw here......don't think we can really ask for too much more....would've been nice to hang on for a win as a reply probably isn't what we need at this point, but sounds like there are a lot of positives there

Can't complain, and a good chance of progressing!

For some reason I have a feeling we/millwall will draw liverpool at home in the next round.

My commentary when quiet onme . But what player were the commentators referring to re someone limping off down the tunnel?

Anyone shed any light on who it was

Puncheon methinks

We are one of only 2 4th round replays by the looks of it, with 3 4th round games still to be played.

Could well end up on TV then if the last 3 games end in victories for someone.

And sounded like he had a decent game too[/quote

Shame there were a few Saints boos for him but to be expected I guess.

Pretty sure it was the Milwall fans booing him.

Someone at the game said a few Saints too.

I would've been amazed if there was none... we know we have some ***ts as fans, as every club does, so there was bound to be some, but hopefully the reception he got as he was subbed was more appropriate and that's what he'll have noticed more.

If they were Saints fans they are idiots. Putting theie own personal vendetta before the good of the club. No doubt the same rabble that kicked off about the possible re-appointment of Hoddle in 2004 and look what that led too !

RE: Boos for Puncheon, people are quite rightly not going to forget his behaviour overnight. Booing him might be extreme but I for one am not going to forget his petulance in a hurry. He needs to respond by putting in good performances.

The Liebherr family taking over?

If people were booing Punch thats A F**ing disgrace

Our fans bemuse me sometimes, bunch of ill-educated chavs some of them

Totally agree. It actually makes you wonder what they get out of supporting a team !

Yes, but they could have taken over whilst still in the premier league.

Perhaps Markus was more interested in saving a football club that was about to go out of existence, and which he had a personal interest in or an affection for, than in buying a club for the sake of buying a club.
