Danny Collins

Ivan Katalinic's 'tache

Recommended Posts

Sky reporter has just updated outside the stoke training ground. Speaking to Collins he said it was a breakdown in communication that the deal fell through, a perceived slur by Collins towards Southampton, but we are back in contact & Collins hoping it can be sorted today. He is keen for the deal to go through.

Excellent. Will be one of our best ever January windows if this goes through.

Danny Collins probably said something about the relocation to NC, something like

"I come with the cats, though"

If you say that fast enough, it makes the last two words sound like "Cazzo", which is Italian for "Dickhead"

Big oooooops.....

I thought it was funny Alps

When he said to agent "I want £40,000pw or the cheapskate small timers can eff off" what he meant to say was "I realise I have been living in a bubble at Stoke, am coming towards the end of my undistinguished career and having considered all my other options (none), will take whatever you offer". All a horrible misunderstanding.

Haha. I would expect it to be something like that. Really would be keen to know what exactly we 'thought' he had said.

depends what Sunderland think of that.

Fair point, I was trying to think of an obvious left back in their squad and forgot he was on loan - seeing as they can't loan Collins onwards.

I suspect now they're just trying to hoover up all possible loan players anyone else might want - it's mental really, they already have about 5 strikers that don't get a look in... and they're just running up debt they can't cover.

That won't matter if they go up. What will matter is all these extra players will lead to a large bloated squad and a constantly changing first CI. Is collins any better than they already have? Sounds like fat Sam is panicking to me.

Collins is being drafted in as a CB to replace Winston Reid who's picked up an injury. A temporary solution. Nothing more, nothing less. Makes sense as he's probably played with Faye quite a bit before.

Do the loans to "the end of the season" continue into the play offs. What I'm thinking is that if WHU end up in them will their loan players have already gone back to their parent clubs (or holidaying in Dubai).

Would love it if us and Reading went up automatically and big Sam struggled, take that mug gum chewing face looking even more like a slapped arse.

Not surprised if that's the case.
