buctootim Posted 26 January, 2012 Share Posted 26 January, 2012 Romeo Y Julieta. They certainly arent the most expensive (think they are Monte Christos or similar) but very nice and used to enjoy a few a year on special occasions till gave up completely six months ago. hamster Posted 27 January, 2012 Share Posted 27 January, 2012 Hamlet, a mild cigar from Benson & Hedges. Havanna (iirc), rolled on the thighs of a dusky maiden. May have been Castella?

derry Posted 29 January, 2012 Share Posted 29 January, 2012 I used to get a box of Romeo & Julietta No 1s in Cuba for US$15 a box of 25. One of my FOs used to stick three or four boxes in his case and sell them to tobacconists for hundreds of pounds. I didn't want to know, 25 was the allowance, I used to give them away. We used to get in about 0600 to LGW there were never any customs, just a tray to throw the paperwork in.
Monk Posted 29 January, 2012 Author Share Posted 29 January, 2012 Surprisingly, never tried a Cohiba, something I look forward to trying. Would love to try a Gurkha HMR which are infused with Louis XIII Cognac! Unfortunately I dont have $740 to part with for just the one!
