Pineapple anyone?

I love how you have tried this joke in both this thread and the Puncheon thread, and I hear the sound of tumbleweed in both! ;)

Tumbleweed maybe...but it did raise a smile as I remembered the old 'Pineapple on his head' chant. :D

The pickings of the carcass of Skatesville and Pompey players deserves it's own thread. I can't see the window closing without us signing someone from down the road. We'd be foolish not to take advantage of their dilemma.

Correct. Even if most of their best players aren't good enough to play for us, surely it's in our interest to buy them for peanuts and either loan them out or let them rot

Spoke to Jos Hooiveld about him, when I bumped into him at Cineworld on Tuesday, squad no nothing about him as he was injured for the 2 days he was in the UK before. At that point as well had no idea where he was and when he was joining ... now I hope Jos knows.

BBC Solent Sport @solentsport

New Japanese media posse for QUOTE]

His move has obviously not gone without some attention from the media in Japan.

I also noted that Hiroshima has a population of something over 1 million people, and the Japenese number something over 127 MILLION people !!

.....sounds like there might be a market for Saints shirts over there soon. Hope Cortese has set up a franchise for sales of ...(said shirts).

Probably hasn't been allocated for a reason, who had it last season? Holmes was it.Can't see why we didn't give it to De Ridder if AL insists on having 20 so that people won't have to renew numbers.

Chamberlain had 11 at the time De Ridder joined. Seem to remember Steve said he wanted nr 11, but because AOC had it at the time, he went for another "double" number (33).

Lee still is waiting for international clearance and according to NA's interview on the BBC he therefore might not play on Saturday. A shame because it would be the ideal game to blood him.

He wont play then, they took their time with Papa and Guly, and they came from another European country.

I am becoming a bit concerned about Southampton Football Clubs links to organised crime. First we have Don Nicola Cortese then take a look at the pictures on OS of Tadanari Lee especially picture 5. He looks more like a Yakuza hitman than a Yakuza hitman does.

Chaplow?
