supersonic Posted 24 January, 2012 Share Posted 24 January, 2012 I'm bringing along a mate of mine for the Cardiff game, who's from Swansea but lives in Southampton and wants to come along to St. Mary's. Obviously he's going to want us to win, but where's the best place to sit for a bit of atmosphere (ie, not the chapel and not block 42 as the yoof won't understand that not everyone Welsh supports Cardiff!) What's blocks 4/5 like?
Greedyfly Posted 24 January, 2012 Share Posted 24 January, 2012 Anything like last night I'd say outside?
shurlock Posted 24 January, 2012 Share Posted 24 January, 2012 Go to the top of block 4 - perhaps some of our lot will wake up and realise its a massive game, prompting the club to open blocks 1-3. If so that's the place to be - worth waiting a few days and seeing how sales go.
ben05 Posted 24 January, 2012 Share Posted 24 January, 2012 I always Like the back of Block 39/38. Got a pocket of around 200 fans who sing for the majority of the game. Always seem to get behind the team when we go behind. Also gives you a bit of a better view of the pitch IMO
ant Posted 24 January, 2012 Share Posted 24 January, 2012 Given that criteria I'd go for the Kingsland North corner, so anywhere in upper half of Block 37, 38 or 39 would do the job. Last few games that's been the first (and sometimes only) pocket of fans to pipe up. I sit halfway up Block 42 and last night was moribund. Saint Garrett Posted 24 January, 2012 Share Posted 24 January, 2012 I'd say the top of the Kingsland/Northam has the best support.
Vershinin Posted 24 January, 2012 Share Posted 24 January, 2012 Top of Block 39 mate is class. Although last night was just embarassing as has been pointed out previously.
