Avenue Saint Posted 23 January, 2012 Posted 23 January, 2012 I can't remember another season when we've had so many injuries! With Jos out now too, I can't believe it!
alpine_saint Posted 23 January, 2012 Posted 23 January, 2012 Has killed our momemtum and our auto promotion chances stone dead. May have been different story with greater squad depth.

Agreed our momentum has hit the wall, and agree that a greater depth in the squad might well have helped. Don't agree that our promotion chances are stone dead but there is some real work to do now........
John B Posted 23 January, 2012 Posted 23 January, 2012 Has killed our momemtum and our auto promotion chances stone dead. May have been different story with greater squad depth. Lets face it NC has not invested in the team sufficiently well for us to be unbeatable most suggested a top class CB Striker and Wide Midfielder during the summer. Although we recruited Jos he essentially was a replacement for Seaborne De Ridder has not been in the starting XI regularly so we are still light with regard to top class CB Striker and Wide Midfielder Lets not forget the squad has done really well to be where it is at the moment and lets hope we do well for the remainder of the season By the way Leicester recruited Mills and Nugent and see what they did tonight
S-Clarke Posted 23 January, 2012 Posted 23 January, 2012 It's not just the amount of injuries, it's the players that have got them. The spine of our team has been ripped out and we're relying on players like Holmes, Forte and Fox at CB to get us through games That is not good enough at this level and we will be shown up against half decent teams, as we saw tonight.
