I pointed out that our poor away form did little to suggest we'd get anything away from home at the likes of Boro, WHU, Brum & Blackpool. Why would anybody think we could win these games when we can't beat Bristol City or Doncaster? I received a host of abusive private messages for expressing my opinion and my reasons behind it. Eventually the thread was removed by the mods. I'm just wondering if anybody has now grasped what I was trying to say? Too many injuries, tricky away fixtures, no sign of any quality signings and now our home form has hit a slump. When will people realise that we are not going up automatically??? I remember being certain Mark Wotte would keep us up... best just shut the fuk up and not make a mug of yourself....that is what I learned when making such stupid "look at me" threads

Ok, we're not promoted yet, but we are about 1/20 with the bookmakers. A fall to third place is still possible - but not likely. And falling below 3rd seems near impossible. The really amusing thing is not just the disastrous failure of the pessimists to predict the future but the astonishing, arrogant certainty with which they make their predictions. Congrats for digging the thread up. It takes all the right people down a peg or two. And is a handy guide on "who not to listen to" in future. These are NOT people you should ever take any betting advice from (unless you want to bet on the exact opposite of what they predict, which would probably net you a very tidy profit)
