Saints V Leicester Match Thread

SOTONS EAST SIDE

Recommended Posts

If you mean me, I am very unhappy indeed. Wish I had been proven wrong...but I am only saying what I believe and you can't deny I have said it since the summer.

Having said that a mid table finish IS a good season considering we were in League 1 last season. Hope the wrist slitters don't give the team too much of a hard time, there is always next year.

We get the message... You really are a stuck record!

have to say i have tried to keep a balanced mind so far about tonights showing but i'm afraid it has to be said...we now look like a very ordinary mid table team and i can honestly see us dropping down the league table now....it was fun while it lasted:cry:

Agreed, and have said so since the summer. Looks like my prediction will be closer than many will give me credit for !

If we finish 17th I will give you due credit - when we get promoted I hope you will acknowledge that you were wrong.

Yes. That is a fair statement. If we are a few places above 17th I hope you will be gracious enough to admit my prediction was much closer than yours.

Well at least there are 2 happy members on here !

No Saints fan is happy with tonight. Some of us are bloody angry because the signs that things were not as good as they appeared did not seem to be noticed - the poor away record isn't new, and the club appears to have been inadequately prepared for the transfer window. In December we had a dream chance of promotion and unless action is taken very quickly it could yet be thrown away.

And we're still waiting for TLs Mummy to finish knitting his scarf.
