Monk Posted 23 January, 2012 Share Posted 23 January, 2012 evening folks, fully appreciate some of you are Southampton but worth a shot. Can you help? As some of you may well be aware our mini soccer set up at Hayling United has had a pretty successful time in the last 12 months. We have well over one hundred children aged 3-10 currently playing throughout our set up. We have seen some delightful football and fantastic results in our favour and most importantly, children developing their footballing abilities and enjoyment over the last few months. Some of the performances have resulted in players being invited to train in academy’s across the country for the likes of Reading FC, Portsmouth FC, AFC Bournemouth, Chelsea FC and Southampton FC which is a massive achievement for sport on the Island. For next season we will be welcoming two new teams to our set up which is where we need help, we are looking for local businesses to sponsor kits and/or weather proof jackets for our teams. Unfortunately the club cannot fund playing kit as our budget only allows for FA and league costs, coach development, equipment purchase and our new disabilities session. Below you will find the teams that are in need of kit: Mini Kickers: waterproof jackets Under 8’s: waterproof jackets and playing kit Under 9’s: waterproof jackets Under 10’s: A team: waterproof jackets B team: waterproof jackets and playing kit Prices: Jackets: £250 for a set Playing kit: £340 for a set of 14 If anyone is willing to sponsor jackets, kit or both then please contact me via PM. I look forward to hearing from you.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 23 January, 2012 Share Posted 23 January, 2012 Good luck - hope you find someone to sponsor you? Perhaps the SWF could sponsor the team, or 100 members chip in £3.40 each? Failing that take a look at this http://www.musicmagpie.co.uk/freekits/index.asp?tduid=2c2a976fd8d5bc5aa5432a763e113a1b 'Free' kits (16 shirts, socks and shorts, inc GK) for 400 cds and/dvds With a team of 14 you just need them to get 30 dvds each

buctootim Posted 23 January, 2012 Share Posted 23 January, 2012 You should also register for the Charities Aid Foundation online database of charities looking to raise funds. It gives a secure easy way for people to make donations to you, and because its searchable by area, type etc it opens up the possibility of getting random donations from people who want to support kids / sports / Hayling Island etc good causes. https://www.cafonline.org/charity-finance--fundraising/charity-fundraising--support/promote-your-charity.aspx
Clapham Saint Posted 23 January, 2012 Share Posted 23 January, 2012 A PO based football team sponsored with Saints (web forum) splashed accross the front. That would go down well...
