kipstryker Posted 23 January, 2012 Posted 23 January, 2012 I had a similar experience in Cosham yesterday..........although the natives showed less intelligence
Dog Posted 23 January, 2012 Posted 23 January, 2012 I've got the most beautiful gorilla foot umbrella stand on my fireplace, I picked it up for a song in India.
saintjay77 Posted 23 January, 2012 Posted 23 January, 2012 I've got the most beautiful gorilla foot umbrella stand on my fireplace, I picked it up for a song in India. Seriously?
Dog Posted 23 January, 2012 Posted 23 January, 2012 Seriously? Yes very serious, it wasn't anymore than a tenner, and they were the expensive ones. I could have gone for the baby feet which were cheaper, but you'd only manage to get on brolly inside.
This Charming Man Posted 23 January, 2012 Posted 23 January, 2012 Would've been better viewing if they attacked him.

Not sure if your talking real or fake or wooden or something but even replica stuff like that is pretty much strange things to be decorating a house with. If you ever want to donate it to a zoo let me know as our education team often take in skin's furs and ornaments for teaching sessions regarding various stages of animals around the world.

Nice try, but I'm not letting these beauties go for anything!! I've probably got some baby elephant tusks in the loft and a lions head which I shot by mistake, thinking it was a gazelle, if you want to pick it up?
notnowcato Posted 23 January, 2012 Posted 23 January, 2012 I'd be interested in the tusks, can't collect - could you DHL 'em?

Not trying anything, you would be surprised how many people have collected that kind of stuff over the years only to realise later that its not what they thought was nice years earlier so donate the stuff to anyone who will have it. The room behind my office is full of dead animals and tacky hand bags made of various animals and things. Sounds like you actually like that stuff though so will leave you to it. Not my cup of tea at all and I hear allot of stories about how these things come about which makes my blood boil. No idea where your stuff has come from so not having a pop (or biting if your on a wind up).
