Looks more like Fiorentina or Liverpool are after hime. Arsenal turned him down a couple of years back. Shame, looks a good player. Wonder if he is left or right footed, cannot find that out anywhere. Is connected with Jacob Friis Hansen, isn't he the guy that was going to be our European Scout but never actually took up the post, or perhaps I am getting confused.

We do still need a left sided CB, anything happens to Jos and we are screwed. Seems to be getting forgotten with all the strikers in the world being linked.

He is left footed I think, and Jacob Hansen did join us but only for a short amount of time. I'm pretty sure Jorgensen is injured for 6 months though isnt he ?

Unless he's made a quick recovery...this article says he's out for 9 months (dated sept 2011)

Aaaaaahhhhh!! Can we dispel this myth that you need a left sided and right sided central defender?! When did this pop up? It's definitely the last couple of years. Who remembers all the way back to Svensson and Lundekvam? In fact how many left footed centre backs have we had at all? And beyond saints, think about the great partnerships around the world past and present and I bet you'll find the vast majority and 2 right footers.

I'm not saying it might not be nicer to have a left footer as well, and I'm not saying an extra central defensive option wouldn't be useful, but they really don't need to be left footed! Sorry Mr Vidic, we only see a left footer doing this job, fck off Puyol, goodbye Pique, don't even think about it Terry. Actually in all seriousness Terry, fck off.

You will find the majority of people are right footed, so of course most centre backs will be right footed. Adkins admits he likes having a left footed centre back and I can see why. Centre backs often have to cover for their full backs, with Hooiveld it makes it easier for him to cover Fox being also left footed.
