He is a bit of a different kind of summariser. I know he has been around for years, but do not normally listen to 5 live. He likes his shakespear and makes all his games sound like a play. If you think about it, it is like live theatre is the football, so I think it is a great way to sum up the drama!

What do you think? Love, don't really care or hate the way he sums up the football? He is different and a chirpy chappy that's for sure.

I absoultely hate his commentary - I want to know about the match, not about how this goal or move has parallels with something that this poet, writer or philosospher has said at some point in history, hate it.

I actually met and interviewed Stuart many moons ago when he was working in BBC Manchester doing the evening news, and he was every bit as 'blingy' as he was with EW on IAK - full of gold chains and gold rings. Nice guy, don't get me wrong, but I really cannot abide his commetary style.

Always liked him, he was a great laugh on IAK and I cant think of anyone else who could have done that particular job (especially the royal one which was priceless). His footy summaries/commentaries are good fun, I always listen out for him on 5 live.
