I don't think there's an upper age limit for jeans. It's Jeremy Clarkson look of beer belly, shirt tucked into jeans and badly matching jacket which should be avoided.

If it is anything like my recent penchant for real ale, you'll just know.

Love real Ale, even though when I ask what Ales they have on I say it like owl..... Bloody retard. Love ringworm which they have up here, but love all the ones they have in Tesco..... Mmmm

Question, at what age should adult men refrain from wearing denim jeans (regular/comfort/bootleg) ?

Nothing wrong with denim at any age really. What about trainers though? There must be an upper age limit, surely. And what's the alternative?

Surely it's the jean jacket and jeans combo that should be avoided the most?

That is not necesarily an age issue, more of a 1970's timewarp.

What some people have not realised is that it is the first pioneering 'rebel' teenage generation who first wore denim, are those now reaching their 60's and 70's having been the youngsters and set the trend in motion.

I think they should shoot us old ****res once we reach 50 ....what right do we even have to be on the same planet

as you cool young whippersnappers?

I attended a funeral for my cousin a couple of weeks ago, he was amongst the 1950's/60's James Dean era who pioneered the jeans, casual wear era, I don't think many would have told him to his face that he was too old for such fashion.

This, there is never any excuse to wear denim AND a suit jacket. There is a time and place for either, but NEVER a time or place where it is acceptable for them to be combined.

Denim jeans, I think, were worn originally mostly by cowboys. And then "blue-collar workers" favoured them, because of their comfort and durability. It was only much later - 50s and 60s that they became popular with young people.
