harwellsaint Posted 20 January, 2012 Posted 20 January, 2012 just fancy forest to pull a result out of nowhere tomorrow, i will be slaughtered if wrong! views?
S-Clarke Posted 20 January, 2012 Posted 20 January, 2012 To be honest it wouldn't surprise me, this league is weird and it's exactly the sort of game forest would go and win. (they still have good players tbf). WHU's home form this year has been suspect too, but I'm still expecting us to be 2nd come Monday night. It would be amazing if otherwise!
thegaffer Posted 20 January, 2012 Posted 20 January, 2012 Trust me..the West Ham players are on a promise of 4 days off if they win tomorrow,so dont think Forest have a cat in hells chance of a result!!just fancy forest to pull a result out of nowhere tomorrow, i will be slaughtered if wrong! views?
bender Posted 20 January, 2012 Posted 20 January, 2012 just fancy forest to pull a result out of nowhere tomorrow, i will be slaughtered if wrong! views? So you didnt see the Forest cup game the other day then? I think your clutching at straws in a vain hope we'll still be top this time tomorrow. Dont worry mate, it'll only be for 2 days.
Micky Posted 20 January, 2012 Posted 20 January, 2012 If you believe that, I think you're slaughtered already mate.
los_saint Posted 20 January, 2012 Posted 20 January, 2012 Get behind the Forest revival FFS!! This. And a Pompey win against Cardiff wouldn't hurt either (can't believe I just said that).
chocco boxo Posted 20 January, 2012 Posted 20 January, 2012 I was thinking the same! Old Skatey Mateys job is on the line so he will be parking the bus, the players will be playing not for him but to escape the wrath of their fans after the last 5 results!!!!!!! A 0-0 all over it? Harewood even 0-1. COYF
Noodles34 Posted 20 January, 2012 Posted 20 January, 2012 just fancy forest to pull a result out of nowhere tomorrow, i will be slaughtered if wrong! Views? you're fu cking deluded mate - get a life!
SNSUN Posted 20 January, 2012 Posted 20 January, 2012 Even if Forest did pull off a miracle tomorrow, we'd probably end up guffing up the advantage by losing to Leicester. I'd rather both teams won tbf. West Ham are not who we should be concerning ourselves with. Cardiff and Boro losing would make for a better Saturday. (Incidentally I reckon we'll beat Leicester whatever the W'ham score.)
Gambol2K9 Posted 20 January, 2012 Posted 20 January, 2012 I could see a 0-0 draw, wishful thinking tho probably!
SNSUN Posted 20 January, 2012 Posted 20 January, 2012 Eek, Cardiff and Boro losing would mean Pompey and Coventry winning. We live in hope...
derry Posted 20 January, 2012 Posted 20 January, 2012 Sean O'Driscoll has joined Forest to help Cotterill keep them up. Could possibly give them a lift.
sfc1971 Posted 20 January, 2012 Posted 20 January, 2012 I could see a 0-0 draw, wishful thinking tho probably! I agree hoofball v hoofball = 0-0 or 1-1
harwellsaint Posted 20 January, 2012 Author Posted 20 January, 2012 you're fu cking deluded mate - get a life! bet ur ringing me at 4.50 , two words me best friend, bet fred!
CB Fry Posted 20 January, 2012 Posted 20 January, 2012 I think we need West Ham to win for the motivation. We've been blessed in the last few weeks with Boro and West Ham fluffing their lines. We can't expect that to be the case for the rest of the season. Something to aim at, to catch up with, could be just the kick up the bum we need.

Colinjb Posted 20 January, 2012 Posted 20 January, 2012 Well, if the Skates are 48 hours from liquidation (as said in the almighty thread in the off topic section) then we have an 8 point gap over Wham.
harwellsaint Posted 20 January, 2012 Author Posted 20 January, 2012 is that a real possibility, they always find a criminal with no money to buy them
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 20 January, 2012 Posted 20 January, 2012 Don't panic guys, we always do best when we're not playing
pingwing Posted 21 January, 2012 Posted 21 January, 2012 Well, if the Skates are 48 hours from liquidation (as said in the almighty thread in the off topic section) then we have an 8 point gap over Wham. Urm 5 point gap? Results expunged west ham loose 6 points and we only loose 1? Unless you are assuming West Ham loose which would be amazing but steve cotterill will fulfil my one man at home chant of "steve cotterill football genius" (had just see paul wotton had been released on a free and smiled a little)

That's fair.

The Championship table if Pompey were liquidated... 1 Southampton Played 25 Points 49 2 Cardiff Played 25 Points 45 ......................................... 3 West Ham Played 24 Points 44 4 Middlesbrough Played 25 Points 44 5 Reading Played 25 Points 42 6 Birmingham Played 24 Points 40 ......................................... 7 Blackpool Played 25 Points 39 8 Burnley Played 25 Points 39 9 Hull Played 25 Points 39 10 Derby Played 25 Points 37 11 Leeds Played 25 Points 36 12 Crystal Palace Played 25 Points 36 Would become a 44 game season.
Chez Posted 21 January, 2012 Posted 21 January, 2012 Forest look doomed. Teams do turn it round, but not this weekend. We'll have to do the work ourselves. And we will.

You never know Forest might get a bit of good fortune,if only they could get an early goal to boost their confidence. They have some good players who might get back into the rythm if they could just get a break.I mean if Jos hadn't blocked that shot last week who knows what might have happened.

Jesus Reigned Posted 21 January, 2012 Posted 21 January, 2012 you're fu cking deluded mate - get a life! Views? your a knob ! Would you have said the same thing to anyone who suggested that Blackburn might win at United a few weeks back? Not saying it will happen, but of course it's possible that Forest could get a result.

Or that Bristol City would win at St Mary's, a ground which oppo hadn't won on in 24 odd games.... football is a funny old game!
