Dr Who? Posted 19 January, 2012 Posted 19 January, 2012 Hi all, We have just got a microwave for a cupboard space in our kitchen, but when you open and close the door it slides around, back and forth. Does anyone have a great tip to how we can stabilise it? I was thinking a bracket?

Micky Posted 19 January, 2012 Posted 19 January, 2012 4 six inch nails through the sides of the cupboard and the walls of the microwave, it ain't going anywhere. Failing that stop opening and closing the door...
buctootim Posted 19 January, 2012 Posted 19 January, 2012 Take the door off and bin it. You dont need it and it just gets in the way.
Dr Who? Posted 20 January, 2012 Author Posted 20 January, 2012 So many good suggestions. I tried my cat, but it is to big, tried the nails, and now it does not work, so did not matter that I removed the door. Might try the gaffer tape, or the non slip matt, when the replacement turns up. Should be covered under the watt antsy. If that fails I might try a bracket, but that takes a lot more effort!
Lighthouse Posted 20 January, 2012 Posted 20 January, 2012 Stick an ostrich egg in there for about 20 minutes, should sort your problems out.
Doctoroncall Posted 20 January, 2012 Posted 20 January, 2012 blu-tac or the more costly equalivalent non slip mat should do it.
