david in sweden Posted 19 January, 2012 Share Posted 19 January, 2012 Such a shame he couldn't get fit ! so true. If he hadn't been so badly injured he'd have still been here I'm sure...A real legend. He's the same generation as David Connolly. Born 1976. rooney Posted 19 January, 2012 Share Posted 19 January, 2012 Fantastic video. What a great player he was. Gary Johnson, now Manager at Yeovil, recommended him to Dave Jones and we bought him for peanuts. I shall never forget that last lap of honour, when he was patting his heart. Not a dry eye in the house.

bpsaint Posted 19 January, 2012 Share Posted 19 January, 2012 Good video that. Such a good signing for us, just a shame he could never get his head right after his injuries. Just imagine if we'd had a fit Pahars on the bench for the final in 03, or when we battled relegation in 05. My favourite Pahars goal is in this clip, remember clear as day seeing it fly in from the Archers
Wilko Posted 19 January, 2012 Share Posted 19 January, 2012 That's enough to have the hair standing up on the back of any Saints fan's neck (the Pahars goals, not the MLT bum touch). A truly great player.

mesaint Posted 20 January, 2012 Share Posted 20 January, 2012 And we had his application for a work permit turned down. Lets hope that Lee turns out to be as good on the pitch but without the issue's mentally that Marion had. COYS
Lighthouse Posted 20 January, 2012 Share Posted 20 January, 2012 I saw a couple of interviews he's done recently on youtube, one of them popped up on the suggestions for the video in the OP. Not sure why this is in English but it's good to see Marian again none the less. Would be awesome to see him here again in some capacity. Coach or a youth team manager one day perhaps. Brizzie Saints Posted 20 January, 2012 Share Posted 20 January, 2012 Such a shame, A f*cking legend and a player i'll never forget, he right up there with MLT, channon, ballie and bobby stokes. Thanks for the memories Marion
