Milwall away in the cup

You can get a GROUPSAVE 4 ticket up from Southampton with a travelcard (they sometimes stop selling them on match days) so could be worth buying those for any thinking of travelling, basically half price train fare, same for those coming from Winchester / Salisbury etc.

Last time we played them in league one it was even pay on the day and we didn’t fill the upper tier, I know as my Fulham mate came along with a couple of pals and bought tickets just before kick off, so I reckon the upper tier will be enough for us.

Hopefully they will make it £15 tickets in an effort to get a crowd in, can’t see Millwall being that up for it as they have the ‘big one’ away to West Ham the following week.

Not so sure, we took 1600 odd to Coventry in the 3rd Round and 2,500 midweek to Palace for a League Cup game. Cheap tickets and cheap train fares, there's no reason we couldn't sell the lower tier as well.

Then again, we have a fair amount of minstrels that follow us, so they'll probably decide to stay at home as it's 'safer'. Despite Millwall being one of the safer away days these days.

Decent enough ticket prices those really, can't complain too much.

Agreed, well worth sorting out cheap train fares while they're still available. Bet we see loads of moaning on here two days before the game about people not being able to find any cheap travel!

Always wanted to give the lower tier a go there, but can't see it happening, very rare to see anyone ever use it.

Think trains to London from the Southampton area are some of those that are the same on the day as they are in advance.

I imagine as Millwall have already announced ticket prices (we have to agree to them as well) we spoke to both Millwall and Dagenham and ticket arrangements were already in place for either before last nights game.

Hopefully they'll be on sale in the next day or two.

I saw on twitter last night that QPR announced their ticketing details for their home game in the next round agianst Chelsea about 5 mins after the final whistle had gone in their win against MK Dons. No reason why it can't be ready and waiting, especially with just 10 days between games.

Megatrain? Or like, has been posted earlier, buy up the 4 for 2 deal early in case SWT decide not to do them on this date as they sometimes do when Saints are playing a localish/popular game.

Another train tip for those only planning to drink at Waterloo / London Bridge, it is cheaper to just get a return from Southampton Central to South Bermondsey than get a return to London with a travelcard.

Example with a network railcard, £20.95 return Sot Central - South Bermondsey , a return to London with travelcard is £25.75

For those that stop for a drink at the Wellesley at Waterloo, police basically bubbled us the last time we played them in 2010, not allowing saints fans to leave the pub, escorted us to the Hole in the Wall and led us straight to the tube at about 2.

Was just looking on the online ticketing system and the first 5 travel club buses are sold out already.

Let's hope there's enough blankets and tea to go round everyone.

Brilliant.

How many tickets have we been given?

Wondering if it'll be alright to buy on the day.

Going up with my mate for this one, anyone know a good way to get to the stadium? Most sites say get the train to South Bermondsey but it's looking pricey - £28 each. Anyone know a cheap way either?

Get in a group of 4 and its half-price. 6 of us going on the 10.00 train so if you want to meet up, PM me.

Stop being such a minstrel and get on the train, get ****ed up, go to The Griffin and stare at some tits, get the last train home and puke your McDonalds up all over the platform at Central.

Now that is a good away day.

This.

Anything under 3k for an easy London away is disappointing IMO. It'll be well under that. Hopfully the quantity of beer and lack of the 'bovril and blanket brigade' will result in a good atmosphere anyway.

Setting my alarm for 7am, let's have it.
