west ham tickets?

Game is still 4 weeks away, going on the usual ticket office time lines i reckon they won't go on sale at least for another week, probably only get 2,200 for it so will sell out really quickly.

Isn't there a rule that away teams must have 10% of the capacity? If so we're entitled for 3,500.

Home tickets went on General sale today on West Ham site. Most London games are restricted to SFC season ticket holders, so I took the plunge and will be sitting on my hands yet again.

fair play, so you are travelling down from Falkirk for it?

if i was you, i'd try and build up a friendship with some season ticket holders on here, i know a few who don't live near enough to southampton to get a season ticket but use friends season ticket numbers to get away tickets, just an option.

Depends on whether our ticket office demanded the extra i guess

Away fans are housed in one end, in the lower tier of the relatively modern Sir Trevor Brooking Stand. The usual allocation for away supporters is 2,200, but if demand requires, away fans can be allocated the whole of the lower tier of the North Stand, where up to 3,600 supporters can be accommodated.

ooooooooh I did that once for a Good Friday late morning game, was really quiet but still took a bottle on the head for

my trouble, still no bottles now so might only catch a few coins or the odd antiquated mobile phone.

We'll be given over 3k.

You never know with saints, as tickets went on general sale today i have just registered on West Ham's website, i can see the away stand they have blocks NL5 and NL6 available for home fans to buy, but blocks NL1, NL2, NL3, NL4, are all restricted so looks like that is what we have been allocated so we definitely don't have the full lower tier.

The 2 blocks on the end are always for home fans.

Was that many moons ago (seventies) and we lost 4-1?

Ossie won the penalty that we scored from...the rest of the game was a bit of an alcoholic blur but I remember it being a bank holiday and we'd smuggled flasks as the only pubs open bank holidays were in Fleet Street and they got necked quite quickly...can't believe how long ago that seems!

Meh, could be wrong, got bad info from a West Ham STH.

i don't claim to be an expert, but i'm told the whole end is 3,600, so if West Ham have 2 blocks of that, plus segregation it would point to us having about 2400, still not a bad turn out midweek but would rather we have 3600 filled the end, Upton Park can have a cracking atmosphere at night games and if we are still top 2 could be an absolute cracker

Ahhh yeh true Appy Mate and as long as there FIT then that'l do me but only time will tell n we'l see Mate!!!

DannySFC mate, don't worry about that, combine some fit ladies with going to west ham, go via Liverpool St and sample some of the pubs of Shoreditch where the ladies will happily get undressed all you have to do is drop £1 in their glass when they come round!

Surely we'll have no trouble selling this out if we get 3,000 or so? Desperate to go to this one so hoping the ticket office allocate this one reasonably fairly by not doing this '2 tickets per season ticket holder' bull**** they often do. Still think people who go away regularly but aren't ST holders should be given some priority ahead of ST holders who don't go to many aways.

i agree, or double up an attractive away game with an unattractive one, so need Birmingham away on your record to qualify for West Ham

I wouldn't agree with that, i have to work on the day of Birmingham, but have been to places like Barnsley, Burnley, Coventry in the cup etc.

Yes travel down in the afternoon and back home on the sleeper service. Hopefully some kind ST holder will offer a favour for Watford 25/2 and Palace 9/4

Oh dear, my main concern is my teenage daughter refuses to tuck her Saints top in to her jeans and the red and white stripes eventually slip below her jacket.

Really hope the club have pushed for max allocation for this.

We have a group of 5 (no STs) who have been to about 6 aways each.

I'll be proper ****ed if the club take 2k and then put them out in a very restricted last-minute window to 'two per ST' or some such rollocks.

Let's get them out to one-per-ST this week, and then database one-per-customer-number next week.

They'll sell out to ST holders anyway I'd imagine. Remember it's half term too.

You could look at it the other way. Still a 3 hour journey, midweek, away from home, £30+ tickets.

Knowing Saints we'll stuff up ticketing for this as we always seem to do these days.

Got quite a few games to sort coming up that will be popular - Millwall, West Ham and Watford.

Im a bit worried about getting a ticket for this, erring on the side of demand being really high. Like others I struggle to get to the TO often and cant really make phone calls easily from my work.. Reckon they'll go on sale next week. Guess millwall tickets will be on sale very soon too.

for anyone wondering tickets are on open general sale on the west ham website, i registered yesterday and anyone can buy if you are prepared to sit on your hands.

From what someone posted about we should get about 2900 like Leicester and Leeds did, considering it is midweek, on valentines day, i reckon there will be a few going on sale to non-season ticket holders.

good one to do by train, going via Waterloo and Jubilee line to West Ham.

No mention of the allocation though.

No mention at all, the ticket office are f*cking useless at informing fans on stuff like this, also classic case wait until home game passes to put them on sale forcing out of town fans to call up and incur the booking fee

I'm glad I moved to Southampton, if I was still living in south Wales I'd have probably stopped bothering by now with all the additional hurdles to actually attending matches the club is gradually chucking in the way.
