PaulSaint Posted 17 January, 2012 Share Posted 17 January, 2012 (edited) Really simple, Saints have just been promoted and you are tasked with the creation of a 30 man squad, you can have a single player from each Premiership club (you have to use the current prem teams) and then make up the rest with current Saints Players (Nige remains manager) e.g. New: Man City - Joe Hart Man United - Wayne Rooney Stoke - Peter Crouch Wigan - God knows? Keeping: Kelvin Lallana Rickie Lambert etc, etc.... So do you go for all big name superstars, all older players, all promising youth or a clever mix or the workhorse player, some finesse, some energetic youth & some older, wiser professionals? Me & my son had a go at this last night, its not easy, you find yourself really struggling to think of any stars from some clubs & agonising over the riches of the likes of Man U, Man C, Spurs, etc. One thing for is for sure, in fantasy land we would certainly need a bigger stadium? saint-crinny Posted 17 January, 2012 Share Posted 17 January, 2012 Sort of on topic, but after watching the Wigan game last night got me thinking - if they went down and we went up, would love us to sign Moses and Al Habsi. Really exciting young striker who goes past people for fun and a great keeper.

Really exciting young striker who goes past people for fun and a great keeper. Al Habsi and Vorm have been two of the most exciting keepers to watch this season, definitely agree he'd be worth a shot as a replacement for Kelvin if they get relegated. I really like Victor Moses but isn't he an attacking midfield/winger?

James Posted 18 January, 2012 Share Posted 18 January, 2012 All you all mental? Al Habsi is the most erratic unreliable keeper in that league! Would hate to sign him. Vorm is very good though. This. He makes at least one bad mistake a game.
