S-Clarke Posted 16 January, 2012 Posted 16 January, 2012 I quite liked it during our JPT run, showed some decent behind the scenes stuff. Was it on last season at all? Totally forgotten. It's nice to have a bit of focus on us though for 30mins or whatever, rather than a quick 5 second moment.

doddisalegend Posted 16 January, 2012 Posted 16 January, 2012 The first season with Jonathan Pearce as presenter was pretty good. The little challenges and player interviews around the local clubs were good fun. The bloke they've got doing it now has all the charisma of a dead fish and the format is now pretty Meh. Still it's better to have something local than nothing at all........I think

It was a pretty crap show tonight if I'm honest. Do they now cover more clubs...? Seems like way too many to slot into 30mins. I remember the days it was just Us, the skates and Bournemouth covered. Now they do Bristol, Yeovil, Plymouth, Brighton......not a real local feel anymore.

The first season they did the Bristol Clubs becuase I remember they did a fastest shot contest and Chris Lines won the Brizzile Rovers contest looked at the camera and said something like " I still won't beat Rickie Lambert". Pretty sure Plymouth were in it from the start to. Brighton wasn't in the first series and neither was Pompey as they were in the PL. Edited 17 January, 2012 by doddisalegend

In the intro to the show they declared they would be analysing Saints staying power to see out the NPC as Champions (or words to that effect). Great I thought - this will be interesting. What do we get? 3-4 sentences - it's all over in 30 seconds...quite literally. They might not have bothered for all the good it was. Not sure I'll be watching that again (well I might next week because the Saints game will be featured as it's on the Monday). lol
