I see he is a Striker. Perhaps a back up deal in case the Hooper one doesn't come off. Would we sign Lee, Hooper and Okaka?

Fourth_Official knew of our interest in Fox and Jay Rod before anyone else, it's just that the 2nd part of the deal didn't happen, but we did try.

 

He's obviously got contacts (or they, as the case may be) and it's worth keeping an eye on for snippets.

 

Oaka is also a wide player, he can operate down either flank afaik, so it could make sense especially with our Sere A connections. Way too good for this league though if he's on form.

Wow 7.5m for Hooper - I haven't seen the guy all that much but that seems a bit over-priced doesn't it? I know Okaka had a lot of potential and excited people a few years back, doesn't seem to have developed quite as expected but perhaps a change of club is what he needs. Don't remember him doing an awful lot at Fulham.

Lambert is not going to be frozen out, clearly the best striker in this league so far this season.

Last season we couldn't get enough left backs and now it seems strikers are the only thing in the shopping cart. I can't imagine we are aiming to get them all though. Lee is just set to sign terms I guess and hooper sounds like the main target while we still have lambert, Connolly, guly, Barnard and have the likes of reeves being brought into the 1st team more often and a fair but of talent coming through the development squad.

Why would we need 3 new strikers on top of lambert Connolly and Guly ? We would end up with highly paid classy strikers not even making the bench. I have absolutely no desire to see Lambert go at all, just seems strange to sign 3 in the window

Further up it says we've up'd a bid from 7.5M for him so I was saying if were splashing that much on players that don't perform then it has to be on the managers head, I don't see whyRoger has an issue with this?
