alehouseboys Posted 15 January, 2012 Share Posted 15 January, 2012 can anyone tell me how likely I would be to get one... Not a chance. We'll only get just over 2,000 tickets, that's all they give to aways these days as they've split that end in two, the other half is now their family stand. Despite the fact the 3-sided ground is usually half empty. This could sell out 4 times over so they'll all get quickly snapped up by ST holders. alehouseboys Posted 15 January, 2012 Share Posted 15 January, 2012 must have been a tight squeeze when Leeds came to town as they had 3700 supporters at Watford. No they didn’t. 2,062. http://www.leedsunited.com/matchreport/20111210/watford-1-leeds-1_2247678_58569 Interesting to see Reading only had 943 there yesterday for what must be one of their closest games, around 30 miles apart. They must have changed their early season policy because Leeds tried to get more but were told it wasn't possible. They must have relocated their family section, or can do if demand is there. sotonjoe Posted 16 January, 2012 Share Posted 16 January, 2012 I heard the Watford tickets went on sale this morning and sold out by 1:30pm today. The club reportedly announced this yesterday at 11:30pm by launching a flare from the North Car Park at SMS.

I spoke to watford fan at work about this today, he reckons almost zero chance of us having a big allocation, they are giving Spurs the full allocation for the Cup game and even that is controversial http://www.watfordfc.com/page/MatchbyMatch/0,,10400~2574914,00.html he reckons they only gave west ham more due to demand / fears they would bring hundreds in the home end, and such measures wouldn't be done for a nice club like Southampton!! so expect 2,200 allocation for this one as well http://www.footballgroundguide.com/watford/

JRM Posted 17 January, 2012 Share Posted 17 January, 2012 Watford should speak to Orient and Plymouth. i agree, but all evidence points towards that not being the case, my guess is West Ham and Watford away will be a scramble for tickets, but for those who don't get them don't worry as we've got plenty of other aways you can just turn up and pay on the day for, Birmingham, Millwall in the cup will be easy enough to get, Leeds easy, Blackpool pay on the day, Peterborough, Hull, Middlesbrough will all be easy to come by.
