Danish Saint Posted 17 January, 2012 Posted 17 January, 2012 Would have to agree with most posters on Marsden, Case, Davis and Williams, but would like to add another name to the discussion: Jason Dodd. We got him for peanuts from Bath, and turned into a club legend. Don't think anyone has gotten that much for the £50k-ish Bath got for him.
Special K Posted 17 January, 2012 Posted 17 January, 2012 I thought Trond Soldvedt did very well for us. Fabrice Fernandes infuriated, but was perfect supply for Beattie. Carlton Palmer was really quite good when he played for us. Mark Wright was picked up for a paltry £80k. Mick Mills was ok for less than 50k. Richard Hall turned out to be brilliant, although wasn't sure when he signed. Colin Clarke came from Bompey, but had one good year?!?!
