we have a pet dog thats on it's way out, when it's time for it i have evry intention of giving it both barrells with a 12 bore. wont feel a thing and wont be stressed going to the vet.

You can pay for a vet to come out and put your dog/cat to sleep.

Last year we had to had to have our old bulldog George, put to sleep. The vet came out to us and George died peacefully on the settee with his head on my lap. A horrendous experience for me but the least I could do for a much loved old friend.

I can hardly believe some of the posts on this thread!

Was driving down the road a few years ago when a cat ran straight out in front of my car. No time to brake, nothing I could do about it. I heard the cat go under my front left wheel, so I pulled over and got out. Lying on the grass a couple of feet from the road was this poor cat, not moving but still breathing. I couldn't just leave it there and decided the kindest thing was to put it out of its mysery. Grabbed it by the head and twisted it sharply, death was instant and pretty much painless.

Anyway, then I turned back to my car and there lodged in the front left wheel arch was a dead cat. Turns out I'd just killed some random cat asleep on the grass. Not sure what my point is but when it comes to putting your cat to sleep, make sure you get the right one.

I've killed a few animals in my time and ate every one of them. It takes a bit of resolution and commitment, but it makes you feel like a man afterwards, especially if it was quick and painless. It also, for a carnivore, makes you feel a lot less hypocritical than all the other carnovores who would never be prepared kill what they eat.

I guess what I am saying is, break the cats neck with a sharp blow to the back of the head, thus instantly killing it, remove the guts and skin the animal and then use the flesh to prepare a stew for the whole family to enjoy, toasting the ex-mog with a glass of chablis for the joy it brought you, both in life and in death. (PS The fur should make an ideal hand warmer for these colder evenings).

All well and good except if you miss and hit him in the nuts things might get nasty, especially if it's a big dog and you've run out of bullets.

This thread is utterly beyond belief and should be locked as soon as possible before more animal haters become involved - oh and I have sent a link to the RSPCA FYI.
You realize that the RSPCA is a charity? So you want them to divert funds from their good work to take action against a website that offends your sensibilities? Waste your own money if you're that upset...

Against this website - hell no, just the low life's who have made offensive non constructive, immature and completely and utterly unnecessary comments on this thread. It's amazing how easy it is to trace people nowadays just from a Username!!!

Regardless of serious/non serious replies to this thread, the very subject matter has me feeling a little sick. I am a cat owner, when things come up that emotionally effect you, it's very, very easy for a sense of humour 'by-pass' to occur. I make no appologies for being serious as a result.

I hope a mod locks this thread, immediately. Give all posters the benefit of the doubt though. But please, if anything should be put 'out of it's misery,' it's this wretched use of the internet.
