Appy Posted 15 January, 2012 Share Posted 15 January, 2012 I'd say the support was OK, well when compared to Doncaster and Coventry last week it was anyway. Trains did their best to ruin my day, 11:15 from St Pancras gets cancelled at Bedford, luckilly hopped in a taxi with a mate and 5 other strangers, 110 quid between 7 for 93 miles seemed a bargain. All worth it in the end.

ottery st mary Posted 15 January, 2012 Share Posted 15 January, 2012 I've looked at the incident a couple of times because I have the advantage of having the whole game on the DD of my satellite box,the shot is beautifully stuck and doesn't rise at all,I think Camp was fooled by that but he could have only done better if the shot hadn't been so well struck.Even if he'd got down the ball might have come back out for our sniffers. Windows , when are you going to admit I am the man.... Since I took over the coaching duties from you and Avenue Saint......Morgan has improved no end:smug: I have even managed to get him to shoot straight and put some spin on the ball:rolleyes: If I can get him to tackle , head and position better;) he will be ready for Arsene at the end of the season:p
dellboypete Posted 15 January, 2012 Share Posted 15 January, 2012 On train back from Derby (handy mother in law for all midlands and north games!) Really enjoyable game and well deserved win. Few plus points: 1: thought Morgan was again really good and what an outstanding goal. He could do that regularly if he had the confidence. Him and Cork were my outstanding players. 2: What about Martin? When he came in earlier in the season I had a few doubts. But what a difference a few games make. He is beginning to look confident. 3: excellent support as usual ( including those guys in row W trying to get the atmosphere going - I was on Y just behind. 4: meeting Eric, as in Arabia, outside the station. I'd been in the Fellows pub before and after and missed him. Excellent pub by the way. Eric - hope mrs EoA recovers soon!!
ladysaint Posted 15 January, 2012 Share Posted 15 January, 2012 Why not, hymn sheets keep the rabble in order in those Sunday emporiums which I do not frequent.Anyone remember going to Spurs many seasons ago when they actually issued song sheets with the programmes. We turned round because we were told that there was no guarantee of getting the trains running again - and we had to get back to the Isle of Wight. Mister Neil Posted 16 January, 2012 Share Posted 16 January, 2012 Trains were normally again after the match. Thanks for that - still didn't have enough to cover the taxi fare though.
