waggy Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 kelvin playing out of his skin at the moment, we are giving away far too many free kicks
Dr Who? Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 Also had a letter delivered to our house today, that was for our neighbours 3 doors down, and her name is Mrs B J Bland.
dubai_phil Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 Also had a letter delivered to our house today, that was for our neighbours 3 doors down, and her name is Mrs B J Bland. A BJ from the Mrs is never Bland
RobM Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 A BJ from the Mrs is never Bland I concur, your Mrs' gives great head.
Lazlo78 Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 Also had a letter delivered to our house today, that was for our neighbours 3 doors down, and her name is Mrs B J Bland. That's very sloppy of the postal service. You should give them an oral reprimande!
Dr Who? Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 I am hoping that us and West Ham can break away from 3rd place and fight it out for the championship. I just feel the strength and depth that West Ham have will shine through.
Ohio Saint Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 That's very sloppy of the postal service. You should give them an oral reprimande! A good stiff talking to.
Ohio Saint Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 We have the capacity to screw this game up.
Dr Who? Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 That's very sloppy of the postal service. You should give them an oral reprimande! New postman. We had our post, next doors and 3 doors down this morning! I am going to claim a wage for distribution.
Lazlo78 Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 Ohhh shooting chance for Cork but he skies it...
Micky Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 We have the capacity to screw this game up. We also have the capacity to win it.
dubai_phil Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 That's very sloppy of the postal service. You should give them an oral reprimande! Talking of sloppy. Found some new Nuns in the week. Not so sure what the match day thread etiquette/policy is regarding Nuns covered in.... When we're winning
Dr Who? Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 We have the capacity to screw this game up. Sounds like it, but the sort of game if we can hold on, we will win.
Lazlo78 Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 Not everything is working for Connolly, but he does look like a class act today IMHO.
Dr Who? Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 Surman is looking good these days for Norwich
Lighthouse Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 Sounds like it, but the sort of game if we can hold on, we will win. Don't you win most games if you hold on whilst your winning. I thought that was kind of the idea.
Ohio Saint Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 HT we seem a little fortunate, but I'll take 1-0!
Minty Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 We have the capacity to screw this game up. And we have the capacity (and current position) to win it. Think positive. Forest fans booing their players off tells the story.
SNSUN Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 Talking of sloppy. Found some new Nuns in the week. Not so sure what the match day thread etiquette/policy is regarding Nuns covered in.... When we're winning More nuns, more goals. The Lucy Pinder technique worked earlier, another little avenue we could go down.
S-Clarke Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 Good solid away showing so far. Cork has ran the show from the middle of the park, and Conners is causing them all sorts of problems with his movement and his creating so much space. Lallana is still giving away the ball in some really **** positions that puts us under pressure.
Dr Who? Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 Got a little wobbly, but 1 up and saved by half time. Back out and after a second.
Dr Who? Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 More nuns, more goals. The Lucy Pinder technique worked earlier, another little avenue we could go down. Pervert, but agree!
Jonnyboy Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 Was Cotteril in charge of the skates for the 4-1 a cup result? Id love to get revenge for that.
S-Clarke Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 Was Cotteril in charge of the skates for the 4-1 a cup result? Id love to get revenge for that. that was grant iirc
Jonnyboy Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 Luckily, Guly is a calmer finisher than Connolly (who shouldve buried first time).
SNSUN Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 Eek, been spotted. Back to work I go. Good luck for the second half everyone.
Saint_clark Posted 14 January, 2012 Author Posted 14 January, 2012 Was Cotteril in charge of the skates for the 4-1 a cup result? Id love to get revenge for that. No, it was Avram. Don't you remember his overhead clapping to the Pompey fans like he was some sort of messiah?
Jonnyboy Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 that was grant iirc ah well, he's still a skate clot
Saint_clark Posted 14 January, 2012 Author Posted 14 January, 2012 Very good first half in my book, all things considered.
Window Cleaner Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 So far so good. We look pretty compact apart from a few minor errors that have given forest the odd chance. Harding and Cork down the right looks decent, pity Jack can't shoot though, must be a prerequisite for a midfielder at Saints.
Roger Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 Was Cotteril in charge of the skates for the 4-1 a cup result? Id love to get revenge for that. No it was avram grant.

Can't remember who it was but a pundit likened Jack Cork to Jermaine Jenas a few weeks ago. I must admit I agree. Energetic, tidy little passer but ******-poor at shooting.
sambosa75 Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 Yeah AL basically got Jos booked with an awful pass! Agreed. Lallana also lost the ball around the 40 minute mark trying a little back heal which resulted in a Forest counter attack. I really like Lallana but he is badly out of form at the moment.

I really like Lallana but he is badly out of form at the moment. At least he had a shot on target and is still working hard. He'll come good.
Ohio Saint Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 And we have the capacity (and current position) to win it. Think positive. Forest fans booing their players off tells the story. Oh, I'm positive all right. There's just always that element of doubt caused by some of those poor decisions and bad luck that have plagued us in recent games. I'm still trying to shake that off.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 We need to be a tad more patient on the ball IMO. If we have it, no need to give it away with a risky pass, especially when we're 1 up.

Energetic, tidy little passer but ******-poor at shooting. Still very intelligent football to set up our goal, profited from the defender's error, stayed calm, waited for support and put in a nice ball that Connolly should have buried, good job Guly was there to finish the job. Don't rate Connolly, not clinical enough and to be honest a weeny bit slow.

Rasiak-9- Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 The main thing is to not panic even if we're still holding onto a 1-0 with 70 odd minutes gone. Even if we don't score again, we'll win this match by keeping the ball on the deck and out-passing them, which is what we've done so far to great effect. Keep it up Saints!
S-Clarke Posted 14 January, 2012 Posted 14 January, 2012 Connollys link up play was brilliant in the first half. He's probably one of the better players in this league when fit tbh. He's a joy to watch when he's on his game.
