Whilst I agree it's nice to hear, how many times have we heard it before?

And yes, this is different to Walcott and Bale because we have money, but we also had money when we sold the Ox. Then again I suppose it's different in as much as he's barely played for us.

Not trying to be overly negative or anything, just pointing out the facts.

Agreed. The first thing you do if you know someone wants to buy your car is tell them it's not for sale...

Different because Ox's old man is a Skate bastard. If Shaw's old man is also a skate we may be fecked.

Stephens and Shaw as full backs will set us up in those positions for years if we can keep hold of them.

I was thinking about that the other day as well, a team like this could be a real possibility in 5/6 years time:

GK - ?

RB - Stephens

LB - Shaw

CB - ?

CB - ?

CM - Ward-Prowse

CM - Schneiderlin

RM - Isgrove

LM - Lallana

ST - ?

ST - Sinclair

Nice noises to make from NA, but the bottom line is that if his agent starts whispering in his and his dad's ears with talk of Premier League clubs, he'll go.

You have to accept that these days if a player wants to leave, no club is really in a position to sell him.

It's been said before, but even Manure couldn't keep hold of Cristiano Ronaldo.
