This article says that Pele has moved back to the South Coast. I can't see it posted elsewhere.

The Wikipedia article says this

On 8th January 2012, aged 34, Pele left Hednesford Town after moving back down to Southampton where numerous higher clubs are interested.

So what is he doing down here? Does he have property or family down here? I presume that there is no connection with us. Who are these clubs interested in him?

Possibly Bournemouth...? I'm slightly surprised by his fall from grace....Hednesford town ffs?? He wasn't that bad....I assumed he went back to Portgual or something.

He really wasn't that bad in midfield - can remember some pretty decent performances from him when played there. He was however, one of the worst CBs we've had since the Jakobssen/Davenport days.
This - I thought he was great too.

In fact, I was there when Jesus crossed the ball to Pele, and he scored. Don't think there's a lot of people that can say that (well, bar the other 31,999 people in St Marys at the time. lol)!

Agreed, very handy for us in midfield. Could do a job in L1 I'm sure, possibly even Brighton ;)

Came on as a sub last night - couldn't stop them losing 2-1 at home (played at Woking?) to Ebbsfleet or as I prefer to remember them Gravesend and Northfleet FC. A 'crowd' of 266 - I wish him well, but I wonder how long he will hack that level of football.
