Window Cleaner Posted 13 January, 2012 Share Posted 13 January, 2012 Back home after a trek across Dubai to find an Al Jism agent. (Thanks to EoA I actually had advance notice we were going to be on telly here) Bought a new Sat Decoder card (US$100 for a year) so that can watch nPc CL & 6 Nations. Got home, followed the instructions to the letter while installing it. You know what happens next don't you.... Correct, isn't working, their Customer Service re-opens on Sunday. What date is it today? Serves me right I guess. Oh well will try email Perhaps the decoder isn't set up correctly, they can be temperamental things sometimes. Is it satellite or cable ? Plus sometimes it takes them a while to see that you're on line and spark up your connection. You usually have to leave on some channel or other for a fair old while. Plus sometimes it takes them a while to see that you're on line and spark up your connection. You usually have to leave on some channel or other for a fair old while. Yeah Sat, OSN HD box with second slot. I had the service during WC 2010 but expired just realised old box blew up so that may be it. No chance to get through on phone at weekend so pinged them an email with the info to tech support. Have left it on that channel & done the whole reboot thing. S-Clarke Posted 13 January, 2012 Share Posted 13 January, 2012 Do we actually know where Barnard is in terms of fitness? He was on the video kicking the ball about with Lee. Probably end of Feb, beginning of March....could be sooner though, we have some quick healers at this club! He's had his opp and has started light training, but will be a while before he can participate in any full on stuff.

LGTL Posted 13 January, 2012 Share Posted 13 January, 2012 So who else apart from Chaplow and Fonte? Richardson? Was he injured at Coventry, he certainly didn't play? De Ridder too I imagine. for_heaven's_Saint Posted 13 January, 2012 Share Posted 13 January, 2012 Didn't even think Connolly was crocked, thought they didn't want to risk him at Coventry. My Guess! depends if Reeves or Hoskins is higher in the pecking order I guess.I liked the look of Hoskins last week, seemed to have a bit more about him than Reeves...not that that's a criticism mind you. CWD Posted 13 January, 2012 Share Posted 13 January, 2012 Judging by twitter it seems JWP isnt in the squad this weekend: http://twitter.com/#!/j_w_prowse/statuses/157834561580040192 (bearing in mind Lallana tweeted about being on the coach to Forest already today) He's just posted a good luck message to the U18s for the game against Pompey tomorrow, suggesting he's not playing in that, which means he may be in the 1st team squad after all. Window Cleaner Posted 13 January, 2012 Share Posted 13 January, 2012 Going to be a very long day with that team - can't see why, as long as we get it right from the start it's a decent side.
James Posted 13 January, 2012 Share Posted 13 January, 2012 can't see why, as long as we get it right from the start it's a decent side. There is a distinct lack of goals in that side. That's the real worry. I have a hunch that SDR and/or Connolly will be available though - Adkins didn't give much away regarding injuries so its all guesswork though. shurlock Posted 13 January, 2012 Share Posted 13 January, 2012 (edited) can't see why, as long as we get it right from the start it's a decent side. If the news on the injury front is correct, hard to think of a better team. But it looks like it might struggle. Can see the front line getting isolated from the midfield and being hurt down the flanks by their FBs (which they did to good effect at SMS). Even worse if Lallana starts coming inside and/or dropping deep to compensate. Also probably the slowest side we could put out which nullifies any threat on the counter. David Strover Posted 13 January, 2012 Share Posted 13 January, 2012 Looks like we're going to have to keep clean sheet - with bouncy, bouncy Kelvin at the moment I have no confidence. Our away league form will continue unabated. I have been very optimistic this season but tomorrow I feel is going to be a veil of tears. Dr Who? Posted 13 January, 2012 Share Posted 13 January, 2012 If we do not win 1 of our next 2 games I am going to be very worried. 4 points would be ok, but 6 would be fantastic, against the old skate and scummer manager.
Dalek2003 Posted 13 January, 2012 Share Posted 13 January, 2012 Honestly, the team have performed way above expectations. But, does anyone really think that we had any more ambition than consolidation this season ? Once you accept this, and our modest investment in players both in the summer now is proof of this, it is easier to be happy with a final position of around 17th !
