Notts Forest AWAY - Build up

Just tried on line and it say SOLD OUT ffs.

I thought we were supposed to be playing crap.

Just managed to wangle my way out of work early so that I can get back home in time, Mrs Eoa gives it the green light with a nightstop in Nottingham and now its sold out.

Away section for me then I guess unless they allow Pay on the day in away section?

Apparently according to someone on another website, ticket office told him Saints have asked for more tickets.

Although don't expect this info to be publised on OS as thats a waste of time regarding information of this kind

We'll be able to get over 4k tickets, definitely won't sell out and most likely will be pay on the day available for us.

Someone just posted on the away section that people on the UI are saying the first allocation has sold out. Would be good to get over 2.5k up there.

Excellent news, so that is the first 2,020 tickets sold, but it always amazes me why the ticket office wait for all of them to sell before getting some more, surely when they get down to a couple of hundred left they should get on the phone to Forest.

Also - make it clear to fans once more tickets have been requested and how many more, plus make it clear it is pay on the day if there are loads left - we should get the info out there so encourage the best turnout possible, sound like we'll have 2500 ish which is good.

I've got a horrible feeling this weekend is the weekend we drop out of the automatic places

As long as we don't lose we will still be in the Top 2, and if our fishy friends could do us a favour we may even extend our lead. Neither Cardiff nor Boro have easy games. I am confident that we will not lose, but won't go any further than that.

Yay .... I'm in .... they must have got more tickets!!

Now to go back and read the pub guide again.

DellBoy Pete - which one is your pub of choice?

Hi Eric, got me confused (as usual) - you here or there?

I'll be visiting the http://www.fellowsmortonandclayton.co.uk/ as recommended by Ex Ringwood Saint in the other thread (it's close to the station and I'll be getting train from in-laws)

If you're not here - hope you are enjoying your winter! (just to make you jealous we spent xmas/n year skiing in france - best skiing for years.

Amazing how things have changed since we last played at the City Ground.

I seem to remember their Stewards being pretty strict in regards to standing last time, hopefully we create a decent atmosphere.

Everyone stood last time, wasn't a particularly enjoyable day being relegated and losing 3-1, we only have 2,018 fans there that day so will be good to go back taking more. Unfortunately i think we'll lose.

The Forest fans to the right of us started clapping our support IIRC.

yeah but they were also giving it the big one "going down going down" and all that, but any team would do the same i guess. what does IIRC mean?

Just perhaps, they have asked for more and Forest have been slow in responding.

And lo!

Some more available the OS have announced this afternoon....

I've drawn the short straw so I've got to drive to this one. Trains are just too expensive for anywhere north of....dunno....Winchester I suppose, and too soon after Xmas to stay up there. A sober away day will feel strange but looking forward to it anyway.

Think we'll nick this one 1-0 with a good defensive display (and a bit of Forest not being able to hit a barn door)

In Dubai at the mo .... fly back Friday, drive down to Nottingham on Saturday staying overnight. Mrs EofA spending afternoon with one of my girls who is at Nott Trent Uni.

You owe me a beer for reminding me about skiing! I did take 2 of my girls to Ski Dubai for the afternoon whilst they were here for Xmas, so haven't missed out completely.

Hopefully will have time to get to the same pub as you.

You seem to love sticking up for the ticket office for some reason, despite the clear fact to everyone else that they are f*****g useless.

Not at all. I have had a barney with them this week about refunds after I was given the wrong match tickets. However, in this case, the moan was unwarrented.

And I'm in ....... Where's Eric Mk 111 ... what are the chances of being stood next to each other in a pub again and not realising it until a few days later

You JAMMY bstd. She must REALLY love you.

Keep an eye out for my mate Lee - he's Snottrill's biggest fan (not) but is at home this week according to his Tweets.

Don't bring me a programme back just a can of some obscure Real Ale will do

This has 0-0 written all over it.

Forest have only scored THREE in their last NINE games, and all those goals came against Ipswich the week before last so in actual fact they've failed to score in EIGHT of their last NINE games!

Who would be a forest fan right now? Thats an horrendous stat!

Never the less, they do have a number of good players which makes me wonder how & why they're languishing at the bottom of the table?

With Ricky out we're going to need to find goals from somewhere, Guly isn't prolific away from home and Lallana has gone off the boil somewhat.

Hopefully Connelly will be back and we'll nick a goal in an uneventfully 0-1 but I cant see this being a classic by any stretch!!

Team for Saturday for me would be (depending on Injuries)

Davies

Richardson

Jos

Fonte

Fox

Lallana

Spiderman

Cork

De Ridder

Guly

Connolly

VAT and Fiddle. Is Mr Adams travelling?

Don't know. Not sure how much time I can put aside for pre match drinking as I should be looking after Mrs EoA who has a broken leg, and we can't check into The Mecure? hotel till 2.

I'm sure if we play the physically challenged card we could get a bit of leeway on that. Don't think we'll shoe polish up and go for the black lesbian card as well though!!

Wouldn't be at all surprised if Sam Hoskins gets at least a bench call for this game.

Gives us options and yes would make sense.

Meanwhile the GOOD news is future Mrs D_P has found a link in Polish to 2 new pages of Nun pics

Bad news is they are all Yahoo images and I haven't worked out how to post them direct onto here yet

Think you will find that all Forest fans know the answer to that question.....

To be fair, they weren't much better before he arrived were they. Rubbish appointment though.

Cotterill started off Ok at Forest but they've gone downhill of late. Probably McClaren's influence tided him over the first 6 games and then the players realised that Cotterill is no better than McC.
