Doctoroncall Posted 8 January, 2012 Share Posted 8 January, 2012 Colin is not a premiership level manager. I'm sure a club will take him on though as he seems able to get teams promoted. Does anyone know his record?
Window Cleaner Posted 8 January, 2012 Share Posted 8 January, 2012 Couldn't happen to a nicer chap. Such an annoying hypocrit and only beaten by our friend gus for dirty cheating teams. But a bit harsh yes. Still, loads of money spent on rubbish, overpaid rubbish. What kind of boss buys traore? IMO he's paying the price for getting promotion the short term way. No real team building just lots of signings, no cohesion and unlike Norwich and Swansea, requiring a complete rebuild for the new season. Take note west ham. A bloke who plays Shaun Derry and not Abdel Taraabt week in week out deserves the sack.

saintscottofthenortham Posted 8 January, 2012 Share Posted 8 January, 2012 QPR fans were saying it was coming a week or so ago. no plan B, lack of ideas, playing favourites over quality (insisting to play Macken right mid and leaving SWP on the bench etc). SNSUN Posted 8 January, 2012 Share Posted 8 January, 2012 Hands up who thought Kean would outstay Warnock? Not me. Blackburn are up **** creek. I don't like Warnock but it seems harsh - any newly promoted clubs target should be safety - and QPR are achieving that at the moment. Mark Hughes (I've never really rated him) yet I think he could take them to the next level. Fulham were going nowhere in particular with Hughes - nor were Man City. Yes, but the QPR "next level" is top twelve Premier League, and Mark Hughes is perfectly capable of that. You're thinking of the next next level - top six - and I agree, I am not sure Hughes has shown anything to suggest he can do that. He is competent but not spectacular. Micky Posted 8 January, 2012 Share Posted 8 January, 2012 Not his greatest fan to be fair - but liked listening to him go off on one. Lately though all of his post match interviews were about the oposition, how good they were, what good players that had, the quality they had on the bench. Should of talked his own lads up a bit more. Not a surprise that he has gone to be honest. Steve Keane - don't know how he is hanging on - perhaps the owners have no money and therefore can't attract better.

Flyer Posted 9 January, 2012 Share Posted 9 January, 2012 Im glad its happened, hes relegated every team hes managed in the PL, clearly a very good NPC manager but an awful PL manager. He was ****ing off the fans saying how superb we were after every loss, against MK we had 2 shots on target, a nailed on pen not given to MK and a clearly offside goal allowed for us and also played 1 up front. He said we were fantastic and it was clear he had lost the dressing room. He was also making noises about retiring in the summer so it would be a wast to hand him £15m now and get a new manager in 6 months. Its odds on to be Hughes thats replacing him. Not my 1st choice but a clear upgrade on someone whos outclassed in the PL. Blackburn are in real financial trouble and may have to sell Samba, Holiett and Yakubu and if they do, they are down. Hes a huge step up from Warnock and the links of players now is making me laugh. Teves has been linked and we are now 4th favs to get him, Enrique for 16m (who was player of the tourny at the copa america u21) Samba is now odds on to join. Alex wants to join. It was rumoured our targets did not want to play for Warnock. As above mid table is the next level for us, Europe is the level after that and hes already done that with all the clubs hes been at. Fulham isnt that much of a rivalry, its full of tourists and a bunch of tarquins. We probably think of them as you do Bournemouth. Chelsea are our Portsmouth so the next round of the fa cup (if we get through) should be interesting a couple of days before Terrys court date. i think the replay is on ITV so everyone can see what sort of effect hes having straight away. Flyer Posted 12 January, 2012 Share Posted 12 January, 2012 Tevez now down to 2-1 to join QPR, our forum known as Fantasy Island reckons a loan will be announced tomorrow. You can see why we call it Fantasy Island. The only thing that makes this even remotely likely is Hughes worked with him before and they both have the same agent hes also turned down AC Milan. Flyer Posted 13 January, 2012 Share Posted 13 January, 2012 We are now odds on favourites to sign Carlos Tevez now. Ive seen the film, its worth a view just to see how arrogant Flav was and how baldy we were run with him there, he was making subs from the directors box. Even the succession of crap managers we had wasnt his fault according to him and things only improved once he went into the background. It doesnt reflect badly on QPR, just flav and Paladini. Saying that, Im glad we had him as we were hours away from going out of business. I bet you wish there was a saints version of it when lowe was around! Isn't Samba off to Spurs, who are offering 50% more for him than you, and who rather more clearly fulfil his desire to be with a 'successful' club? Chelsea have turned down your offer for Alex, as have Fulham for Hughes' persistent attempts to sign Andrew Johnson - although I suspect you'll succeed with the latter. Micky Posted 21 January, 2012 Share Posted 21 January, 2012 Barton is acting like a grade A cock. He's willing to put it out on twitter and basically intimate that he didn't think NW was that great with his planning - fine. Did he actually have the balls to tell NW that to his face when he was working with him? JB is part of the problems that QPR have - to publically aim blame at somebody else, especially after they have taken the fall for the TEAMS performance is pretty cowardly really. I do actually have time for JB - but in this instance I think he is wrong.
Flyer Posted 23 January, 2012 Share Posted 23 January, 2012 I think both Warnock and Barton have been morons, Warnock took aim at Barton knowing it would set Barton off on one. Hughes should ban him from talking about QPR on the net. Still its all looking good now, Hughes has bought an immediate lift and we look threatening when we go forward now despite not having any new faces yet and being the 2nd worse attack out of the 92 clubs in the league.
